2025 List Management Discussion - Part 5

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.

Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

Imo, think his kicking is more about confidence and getting used to handling the pressure. Dont think he would get into the elite kicking bracket, but wouldnt be surprised to see a big improvement this season. He now looks like he knows he belongs at the level.

On kicking, think we will really enjoy seeing Flanders kicking through the midfield. Looks a very nice kick. If we ever had a midfield rotation of him, sincs and Nas that would be a pretty elite kicking midfield

I'm a massive Flanders fan. He was absolutely elite in 2024. I wanted him before he was a regular in the senior side. He was absolutely taking the piss in the VFL and couldn't break in to the side. I saw him play and was in disbelief that he wasn't playing every week. Check out his VFL stats.

Older fringe guys like dow clark byrnes stocker will look for a trade to the likes of WC, tigers, lolnorf if we hit our stride this year and make finals etc with them in the vfl

Trade , i doubt it
Stocker may get another contract at the end of next year but if we haven't gone past Byrnes by them we are in trouble , he will be cut lose IMO
Hunter will just be hunter and hang on around the edges for another year or two

What if Windhager produces at the same level in 2026 as he did in 2025... and Byrnes is better than Windhager in 2026?

Does the singular reason someone disagrees with you have to be drug related?

My main contention is simply: "St Kilda supporters should enjoy it when St Kilda players play well".

It is possible we could win a flag with Byrnes as one of the 23 players. If that happened, I would want all St Kilda supporters to be able to enjoy that.
