Your condesending words were “finally Fagan opened his eyes”…..I take that as he had closed eyes (if they are not open ) to Froggy until season 2023 when Fagan opened his eyes which he did not. Froggy’s dramatic improvement in form is what has given us much joy in his last few years with us….not Fagan with his eyes open or shut.
Next to you, not many have enjoyed watching Ryan’s footy more than me. (Probably apart from his Mum & Dad)

Bruce is building his confidence nicely at AFL level, what I really like about him and all footballers with this trait is his vision and preciseness via foot. You can never have enough good ball users in a team, he plays tough at VFL level, hopefully with even more confidence he will start taking tacklers on in AFL footy.

Bruce’s disposal by foot is outstanding, he can take a grab, he’s quick and he is smart too. He is DESTINED FOR GREATNESS!

Reville is also great in traffic. His little give to Charlie that resulted in a goal was class. He also had another great attribute, he’s just about the first man in to celebrate when a teammate kicks a goal. That’s an intangible but important trait. Joyce is an honest footballer. Hasn’t had much of a run, but I don’t mind him.

Joyce? I’d have Joyce over McGovern! He’s every bit as good.

We need to remember where Carlton is at from a list health point of view, where they are at on the table….and consider the fact he is still not in their best 22.

I’d love to see any vision from recent seasons as to why we think having him on the list is a good thing….

McGovern may not offer as much in a defensive aspect but would certainly offer more in the offensive side if the game in comparison to Joyce. He can actually be a very good kick especially his long kicking. But when playing for Carlton who predominantly look for a defensive kick rather than an attacking one, he becomes insignificant.
He would offer more to an attacking team.

No logic to that post….So why did they give him another year after the 2022 season if they thought he was done? You think Fages wanted him out but someone else made the decision to give him another year? Doesn’t work like that.

McGovern is a dud and Aleer is not worth $600k plus. You can’t get sucked in by somebody doing 1-2 flashy things in a game once and then expecting them to come in and perform every week. Aleer is a hype player.

I’d honestly stick with what we have, especially with Zakotelsky improving nicely in the 2’s.

Bringing in depth players is dangerous. You end up with half a dozen of them clogging list spots that could go to kids and there’s no development happening.

Doedee is a dud, Joyce is a dud. He is at least better than them.

Doedee is working hdi way back from back to back ACLs which is never easy.

Joyce did a job for us when needed and can play a role. We can't have a team full of superstars all the time. We need our fair share of role players.
