Hypothetical, it might be worth considering trading Neale if he does want to go. He is starting to get a bit banged up and this will be our only opportunity to get good value out of him going. If WCE for example want him, they are so desperate they will pay a lot for him. IF he is wanting to go, it would genuinely be worth thinking seriously about.

Both kids were selected for the AFL futures game on Grand Final day, so that tentatively puts them in the top 50’ish 12 months out from their draft.

We won’t be getting the Crows first for Ah Chee. Our best bet is trading on whatever we get for Starce if we can. Depends what assistance package the Eagles get from the AFL

From the limited stuff I’ve seen I’d definitely pick Bridge up with a late pick, admittedly I haven’t seen a lot but looks a similar player to Murray who a lot are rating quite highly

Gardiner and Lester will play another year or two, we've got Joyce if we need, and Doodee/Payne coming back from injury. Its nice that he wants to play here, but now that we have talls coming in, we need smalls on the other end of the ground. Right now, there's only Shagga, as McCarthy is not going to come back from where he used to be and the end is coming for Charlie.

That would also be considering advice for non-professional athletes, where it is less of an issue if it tears fully at a later date. Partial tears have come up a few times in AFL and other leagues I follow and each time the player has undergone surgery which resulted in the full 9-12 months recovery. The main benefit is that there is less likely to be complications resulting in further issues like in Kiddy's case.

From what I read, a surgery to fix the partial tear rather than a full reco is more likely to tear again. I am more trusting of medical professionals involved in professional sport than I am in a google search though. As you said most advice is going to be for general public rather than elite sports.

Sadly, Cal looks like he has been "gone' for most of the year. He has been great for us and his finals form last year was elite.

I think we clearly want a second intercept defender. We have Andrews and nobody else who can do it consistently

Yes we need a intercept defender with Payne injury and Staz gone I reckon Ridley who wants to come is perfect Dizzy and Frog won't play forever

I’ve had genuine issues with Bridge’s ball use for a couple of years now. His kicking can either be good, or genuine scrubbers. He also has a reputation for not going in hard when it’s his time.

This year Caylen Murray already looks to be ahead of, and have a better game, than Bridge, and despite his slight frame, is hard at it.

I’d much rather draft Geesu as a potential McCarthy replacement.

Cal is worth a pick inside 25 but Adelaide doesn't have that we could trade a future 3rd and Cal for Adelaide first
