He was IN the march? Yikes.Wasn't wearing any in the march to the G. Probably wanted to remain more low-key, could change when he's there.

Both Starc and Ah Chee sounded like they’re gone when asked today. Ah Chee said it was nice to finish this way and Starc said emotion won’t come into his decision.
Will miss them both terribly.
I have it from a very reliable source, within the Adelaide football club, that Ah Chee is definitely going to be there next year.

Certainly after the game Ah Chee looked extremely emotional. Both Starc and Ah Chee sounded like they’re gone when asked today. Ah Chee said it was nice to finish this way and Starc said emotion won’t come into his decision.

I always knew Oscar was going to retire given we're bringing in Allen, Draper and he's gone behind Fort. Not to mention his injury problems. But man, i'm going to miss him. I still think Darcy can have another year thoughHave a feeling Gardiner and Oscar are gonna retire.
Darcy Gardiner has already extended for next year. No retirement fortunately.I always knew Oscar was going to retire given we're bringing in Allen, Draper and he's gone behind Fort. Not to mention his injury problems. But man, i'm going to miss him. I still think Darcy can have another year though
Now the real season begins!

We've got plenty of points for Annable already.Add Allen and Draper Friday then find some points for Annable
The fun continues
Gardiner had a fantastic final series. Was brilliant on Cameron yesterday too.Oscar will retire unless he wants to be a depth piece and happy to play vfl to cover from injury. (Would prefer).
Gardiner will probably retire end of next year but he could also be a handy depth piece in 2027.
Stole my line. Now the real season begins!
Win a flag then nail the rorts.
How good is that ?
Eddie will blow his gasket before the trade period is over.
Stole my line.

I reckon our win yesterday will supercharge the trade period the other 'contenders' will have realised they are currently a long way off and will need to move heaven and earth to try and compete.
For example I would fancy us against Hawthorn next year even if they had Merritt and Butters in their midfield.
Geelong will need Curnow, Marshall and Worpel and still seem a mid short.
Hope the players aren't as cocky as I feel.
What seemed within reach yesterday morning surely seems like a chasm now!
I think Darcy has played his career best footy in the PF and GF.Gardiner had a fantastic final series. Was brilliant on Cameron yesterday too.

Their midfield was awful as well, especially once we got on top. We waltzed out of there time after time once we got the game on our termsI think Geelongs backline let them down a bit yesterday. Still seek very reliant on Stewart
Always feels that way after a Grand final. One thing we've done well since last year is to blood promising youth early. Though it was forced upon us with Morris and Lohmann in 2024 due to injuries, I'd say this year we have been more proactive with Marshall, McLachlan, Gallop. Won't count Levi as he was always going to play.
We need a Mr. Fix it with Ah Chee's departure and a lockdown defender with potential move of Starcevich (at least until Answerth returns). Other than that, we can sit back and watch the list evolve with one more pre-season under all the 22 n under crop. Their maturity alone could take us to another finals run in 2026.
