I have concerns about this.

Currently there really are only two clubs that might target our pick 16 (will be 17) North & Melbourne. There just aren’t many clubs loaded up with picks that might want to move up, at this stage.

Secondly, Carlton will be shopping their pick 9 (10) for points, and Gold Coasts will be shopping their pick 14 (15) for points.

Most likely we’ve acquire enough points already for Annables ?
Especially considering the likely rorting to be had on draft night, when list spots restriction won’t apply.

Maybe we will start looking at trades like the 2022 trade with GWS, Pick 16 > Pick ~22 + F2. That could set us up for next year

2032 points at present, but that will change as trade week progresses.
If WC get pick 2 compensations for Allen, all clubs go out 1 spot.
Then when the Ah-Chee trade is done our points will rise again
With 10% discount Lions have enough for pick 3 at present

Both AFL and Zero Hanger have Lions with 2 first round picks at present being 16 & 22.
Lore (little strip image below) from the BF main board has pick 22 being 2nd round

It just occurred to me that west coasts starting midfield next year could be starcevich and dev not the best kicks but would be one of the strongest defensive 1-2 combos in the game.
