Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
If we want a big-bodied mid, we should get Alex Davies
193cm and the type who is also good on transition. Would come very cheap in terms of draft capital especially from Gold Coast
Means we wouldn't have to draft Greeves and can take a more modern-day type like MiniPou or Grlj instead
He'd be Ned Long 2.0I read during the week that he was keen on looking at other options, he is not the tidiest player but definitely has a crack. We could do a lot worse if we wanted a ready to play big bodied midfielder. I see GCS are playing him in the midfield today and has 18 disposals at half time.

I used to think he was a spud too. But today he seems different - winning clearances and super clean against arguably the best midfield in the competition
For a third rounder, a 193cm mid who is good on transition is gold in the modern game imo especially since Pou is our only good 190cm+ mid
We blame academies, draft quality and everything else under the sun in every press conference. Someone might want to tell the President and the coach about what is happening internally with the way we have wasted numerous top 18 draft picks while every club around us has drafted elite level talent.
With the midfield talent GCS have coming in this years draft, they probably wouldn't want the world for him either. Depending on which way we want to go it might allow us to go with a tall forward with our first round pick. He'd be Ned Long 2.0
A midfield enabler. Wins clearance and free up the likes of Pou/Garcia etc to run havoc on the outside
We have a problem when it comes to key position players at both ends of the ground and im watching our very own 198cm Oscar Adams who we thought was usless and delisted him play for GC currently.

Since 2014 until 2021, we hang out hat on Max Hall yet get blind sided by players who should be at their absolute peak right now in McCartin, Billings, Dunstan, Acres, Gresham, Coffield, Clark can also add in King (Rozee, B.King, Smith and Butters all top 12 picks after Max) thus far that have been a failure. We have hit only 1 elite player in Nas with years of not only top 18 picks but either top 5 or top 10.
I can't think of a club who has a worse strike rate then us when it comes to recruiting top 18 picks since 2014.

Does ITK stand for I'm the knob ?
Then draft Barratt who is a massive project. Definitely a bit odd list management with the KPDs although Clav and Van Es haven't found their way back to AFL, yet.Weird stuff that we draft three proper KPDs and dump them all before trying them. Clavarino, Adams and Van Es all reasonably high picks and all dumped before getting to show anything. Tall backs are a projects not instant impact. Also got rid of Darragh Joyce who has been a depth KP at Brisbane ever since.

I'm hearing 99.9 % of the stuff posted on here is made up bull sh1t from people chasing fame and that ITK status , all we need playing in the background is the Benny Hill them song as you read some of the garbage getting spread around
Our strength and conditioning will probably make him lose 5kgs thoGarcia with another 5-8 kg of muscle is going to be a hard man to stop, he has a massive upside IMO
1 year left on his dealWith the midfield talent GCS have coming in this years draft, they probably wouldn't want the world for him either. Depending on which way we want to go it might allow us to go with a tall forward with our first round pick.
Interesting one, because by all accounts NAS has a great relationship with RTB.Like I said - take what you will, but if you know anything about coaches, Ken is one of the most highly spoken of from a players point of view. Look at the players port has lost and acquired and compare that to crows and you will see in a 2 team state.
Saying that a coach doesn't matter to a player that is potentially looking at moving clubs is ridiculous and shows your foot
Why?This aged like a fine wine, that you drink too much of and shit the bed.

Now there’s some insight….Garcia is a poor user at this stage but then so are a lot of the very best midfielders. He's the kind of player that lifts his teammates with his passion and appetite for the contest.
They do and they don't. We have benefited from NGA in Owens and Windhager and also look like benefiting from Fincher this coming draft as he looks a talent. Yes father sons we haven't, but if we done our part and drafted accordingly, we wouldn't be crying about it every single week. I think everyone agrees that the system is broken in some way shape or form, however mentioning it in every press conference pre or post game is just getting tiresome. For a coach who loves to trot out the line of we focus on what we can control, he sure as hell loves to focus on everything thats out of his control. Those two things have nothing to do with each other. Obviously we've drafted and developed terribly, but that doesn't mean it's justified that the system is stacked against us.
He’s spent days here on this board laughing at pretty much every post.Young Gun #6 if you're going to laugh at my posts on our board I'd be keen to hear your thoughts on how you pay for Nasiah. Otherwise maybe bugger off?
Bevo has massively under achievedPeople get stuck into Kenny and Bevo but realistically both have taken their lists further than some would think they should have.
Port have done several rebuilds on the fly similar to what we are doing but usually stay top 4 and for a huge length of time. Finished top of the ladder for a lot of them. Same with Bevo, he's had them up while moving through the list to refresh and rebuild on the fly.
Their players seem to love them apart from the normal few that can get off side at any club. Both very warm positive coaches that let their players play to their strengths and encourage flair and fun.
Both haven't had the best run in finals but repeat chances give you the best chance at pinching one.
You are so off here it’s not funny. The issue with academy is regarding the exclusive access. We never had exclusive access to Windy or Owens. Any team could have taken them. They do and they don't. We have benefited from NGA in Owens and Windhager and also look like benefiting from Fincher this coming draft as he looks a talent. Our decline in structure and kicking skills are imo more of a priority that he should be worried about, as he will soon find himself out of a job.
