750k is the reported figure we’re paying him to get him out of gws, not that absurd given cap increases imo. We have money to spend.

You’d want to see more from him, but we’re buying a prospect, not a known quantity. If it pays off it’ll pay off big, if it doesn’t it’s a risk, but the best lists are built of risks.

We have demonstrated a very good eye for talent spotting in the last few seasons, keen to see if this one pays off.

As for the GWS game on atm, yes, blame the 20 gamer for the whole team shitting the bed.

I am excited by his athletic traits, as we all should be, but I'm not convinced that he has the game sense to succeed. His contract could absolutely unsettle the playing list considering he is a raw and unproven 24 year old.

I'm beating a dead horse mentioning (manifesting) Sam de Koning, but there's a proven tall key defender that we should be throwing our $s at.

I cant see where he improves - the guy is all legs he is never going to able to hold his positioning against stronger opponents (thats everyone). He got out bodied by Poulter in the first, very ordinary. If he is relying on his leap he needs to at least be able to read the flight of the ball in the air which he is not. Then you watch him on the chase and he has zero closing speed?

What are we recruiting a guy with a great leap, who cant judge over head balls, can't run and is clumsy. A huge NO THANKS from me. He is 23yo and is no more advanced than most 18yo's key defenders, we would be 10 times better off using that pick and grabbing a big key defender at the draft.

Yep fair enough, guess we’ll see.

If he does come to saints, clearly we see something in him, and I have no reason to doubt the current footy department’s recruiting, so definitely giving them the benefit of said doubt.

I think whoever is in charge of giving out contracts needs a reality check.

Which of his actual list management decisions have been bordering on negligent?

Roma, aleer, TDK etc are a hypothetical atm, only info has come from media which are notoriously inaccurate when reporting this sorta thing.

Speaking of losing patience, I think as a supporter base we need to have some patience with the current list build, let them cook, judge once the dish is served.
