Max Heath a potential outcast from STK?
Assuming we lose TDK & JSOS under FA, we won’t to dilute our compo picks.
FA’s;
D.Williams
Laverde

Other potential OOC, aiming for DFA status…
Blight
Chesser
Rosas
Sonsie (?), T.Dow (?)
Eddie Ford
Reidy
Delean
Lual
Menzie
H.Bond (?), Z.Taylor (?)
C.Dean (?)

Wanganeen has lived up and exceeded how good I thought he’d be
he’s a machine deserves big bucks
Tdk has played like a 700 k player good luck getting value out of that deal
It will be talked about fur years as probably there worse deal next to king

St Kilda and Geelong will join hands in two or three years, with TDK sent to Geelong and both clubs paying half his salary. There is probably nothing more likely to happen.

Id take a risk on Trelour
Wouldn't cost much either
I like Treloar and he would upgrade our list. Only for a year or two and could miss between 30 and 70% of the season. Doesn’t seem logical. If we were on the cusp of a flag might be worth it. We might not be too far away, but likely to need a season or two for the kids to come in and especially HOF to return after his ACL. Treloar would hamper the development of kids during the next couple of years.

Apologies i don’t keep up with this thread. Does anyone have a list of our players who are now out of contract? Keen to know who the club has to make decisions on, thanks

Here you go:-

2025
1.
Jack Silvagni
3. Jesse Motlop
11. Mitch McGovern
12. Tom De Koning
14. Orazio Fantasia
15. Sam Docherty
17. Brodie Kemp
26. Nick Haynes
31. Harry Lemmey
34. Rob Monahan (International Rookie Cat B)
38. Will White (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025) ?
39. Alex Cincotta (Pre-season SSP 2023)
41.
Matt Duffy (International Rookie Cat B) ?
44. Francis Evans (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025) ?
45. Flynn Young (MSD Rookie 2025) ?

Off to Qatar (maybe every Q for a refresh) and on minimal chips, would assist us through the middle / HFF.
We’re complaining about a lack of depth & quality, this would assist over the next couple of years.
4-club player too if he’s to move on.

Treloar is top shelf, he is also coming off a season where he has done his calf 4 times if i recall. First game back in the 2s he gets 40 touches, i have always loved him, he will be a DFA if he is to leave it seems.

But you dont improve the durability of the list by replacing an injury prone Silvagni with a injury prone recruit.

We must improve our durability.

Best way to improve durability is to improve depth so we can rotate players throughout the season …

Tom Cole anyone?

Very solid 3rd tall defender... if JSOS and Guv are gone...

I'd like Cole, Chesser and Ryan from WCE.

We aren't as far off as this year has suggested.

Get some much needed good ball use back into the team-
Newman
Jagga
E. Hollands
Kemp

Get some guts who have had injury interuped years up and firing-
Walsh
Harry
Cottrell

Then we've had a bunch of our stars have a down year - Charlie, Cripps and Weitering. That won't happen two years in a row.

If a couple of our young guys can take the next step-
Ollie
Cowan
Motlop
Lord
HOK
Carroll
Moir

We can surge back up pretty fast. Esspecially if Voss gets a bit flexible with his game plan and takes on board some input from some new assistants

I'd love to add another couple of experienced guys onto the list like Haynes. He's been incredible this year.

Ryan is basically Corey Durdin but older
At his best Ryan was all Australian small forward quality. Durdin is borderline best 22 at a team who has the worst small forwards in the league. He wouldn't get a game for 12-13 sides in the competition. It is likely that he’ll be delisted this time next year.
Even this older and injury prone version of Ryan is better than the best version we could ever dream of seeing Durdin become.

Ryan has never kicked more than 30 goals in a season, no way has he ever been in AA contention.
