Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
If he can play for a year - that would be a good return. Not sure a rising 33 gear old Adam Treloar answers any problems for us.
Treloar is a good culture guy. Would be a good step into coaching for him to come across.
We're going to have some cap space that needs filling in the short term. Wouldn't mind working a minor trade with the Dogs if they were up for it. Something that doesn't impact our FA compensation but also helps them out.
Win-win.
Treloar got 40 disposals when he played in the Reserves against us two weeks ago.If he can play for a year - that would be a good return.

Popcorn time….who is the better option, lower risk Treloar or Dylan Shiel?

Dylan Shiel's disposal is woeful. Would be staying far away personallywho is the better option, lower risk Treloar or Dylan Shiel?
Cooper needs midfield time, Jagger needs midfield time...rather see the minutes go to them.If he can play for a year - that would be a good return.
Wonder if Dogs are one of the clubs who have shown interest in Elijah? Straight swap?I'd take a risk on Treloar for a late token pick and his salary. We are not drafting a better option for a late pick. Why not have another explosive midfield option. Add Flanders and Jagga as well to the mix, all of a sudden we have different options and mixes to run through there.
Has anyone shown interest in Elijah?Wonder if Dogs are one of the clubs who have shown interest in Elijah? Straight swap?
He'd be a match payments only type deal surely too. We're going to have some cap space that needs filling in the short term
FwiwHas anyone shown interest in Elijah?
We had 1-1.1 allocated for him though.TDK wouldn't have been on that much... probably freed up about 600-700k...
A: Why would GCS do that, when they’ve already got mids coming out the wazoo?Just being silly. Trade Cerra for Flanders? I’ll throw in Fogarty as a sweetener
Treloar has never really struck me as a future coach. Good for culture, popular with his teammates, sure...but not one who is going to innovate a gameplan, demonstrate some innate ability to communicate a gameplan, or bring some elite skill-enhancing ideas to training.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Adam Treloar as the Under 17's coach for season 2025.www.facebook.com
No-one's suggesting we bring him in as a succession plan for VossyWhat he offers beyond that I have my doubts about, but if we're offering a pathway rather than a shortcut then I'm less concerned
