Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
If someone agrees to take him, it won’t be literally nothing, it will be a good faith move of a fringe player that the club is happy to move on, or a valueless (5th round) pick.I don't think Elijah Hollands will be nothing either, still contracted so a draft pick or a player will be incoming.
This is why I like that Sholl idea if Elijah was to go to the Crows. Sholl will be more useful to us than a pick with no draft points associated with it that we probably won't even use.If someone agrees to take him, it won’t be literally nothing, it will be a good faith move of a fringe player that the club is happy to move on, or a valueless (5th round) pick.

I would also chase Callum Ah CheeTwomey on Gettable mentioned we'd be a good fit for Treloar if he's not offered a contract by Bulldogs
I personally would take the younger McGovern, we do lack KPD depth after the untimely and premature loss of the elder McGovern. I'd rather keep Chess of course but circumstances being what they are and all I couldn't really fault him having planned to leave.Would they be interested in McGovern
I think that if no one else goes in for Darcy, we'd be looking at getting him as a mature aged F/S via either the PSD or the rookie draft.Get him on the AFL list for next season
EDIT: and the runner up Darcy Hogg!

Ethan Phillips was crowned the Carlton Reserves' 2025 Best and Fairest.www.carltonfc.com.au
Do we still have matching rights if someone bids on him in the ND?I think that if no one else goes in for Darcy, we'd be looking at getting him as a mature aged F/S via either the PSD or the rookie draft.
Gone back to Daddy
Can’t blame him he wants to see the greatest collection of wooden spoons that the saints have on display
Glad that us, pies and you guys didn’t get into a bidding war over Silvagni that’s a massive win for all three clubsGood outcome for us compensation wise. You lot and the Pies were offering a similar deal to us so probably would have net us band 3 compo. Hopefully this pushes us up to at least band 2 if the offer of 800-850K per year for 5 years is real.
I'd like to think it's a loss for the Pies with McRae being exposed as a lousy dateGlad that us, pies and you guys didn’t get into a bidding war over Silvagni that’s a massive win for all three clubs
Well that should wipe the smile off that arrogant pricks face can’t stand McRaeI'd like to think it's a loss for the Pies with McRae being exposed as a lousy date
You mean the happy go-lucky coach of "everyone's second favourite team"...?Well that should wipe the smile off that arrogant pricks face can’t stand McRae
You’re right.Seriously bizarre move from Jack... Rather than squash the 'nepo baby' narrative that has plagued his entire career, he has instead chosen to spectacularly confirm it! And I'm a big fan of him as a footballer!
Band 2 you think? Feel like we are 50-100K/year short of Band 1 if it is 800K x 5. 850K a year puts us in a bit of of a murky area. Unless the AFL take into account TDK's ridiculous contract ofcYou’re right.
But it does sound like he’s going to pocket over a million dollars more than any of the other offers.
Given his contract and injury history, maybe it makes a little more sense. It’s not a confident move, though.
Half their list was over 192. Something reasonable had to drop off their list to gain balance and it can't be last years first round draft picksI’m a little confused with the Blight delisting. Not sure what has occurred but felt he looked good in the opening rounds.
