This is why I like that Sholl idea if Elijah was to go to the Crows. Sholl will be more useful to us than a pick with no draft points associated with it that we probably won't even use.

I personally would take the younger McGovern, we do lack KPD depth after the untimely and premature loss of the elder McGovern. I'd rather keep Chess of course but circumstances being what they are and all I couldn't really fault him having planned to leave.

Good outcome for us compensation wise. You lot and the Pies were offering a similar deal to us so probably would have net us band 3 compo. Hopefully this pushes us up to at least band 2 if the offer of 800-850K per year for 5 years is real.

Good outcome for us compensation wise. You lot and the Pies were offering a similar deal to us so probably would have net us band 3 compo. Hopefully this pushes us up to at least band 2 if the offer of 800-850K per year for 5 years is real.

Band 2 you think? Feel like we are 50-100K/year short of Band 1 if it is 800K x 5. 850K a year puts us in a bit of of a murky area. Unless the AFL take into account TDK's ridiculous contract ofc

Half their list was over 192. Something reasonable had to drop off their list to gain balance and it can't be last years first round draft picks
