Should have kept Doc if that was the direction we were goingWTF is going on…..Mcintosh!
OMG I must be in a different universe.
Where can I have said listen?Have a listen to Weitering this morning re blokes that want out.
I doubt that he’d be that definitive publicly without the club’s imprimatur.
The club have stated they need to get busy.
Too do so they’ll need currency, both in trade capital and salary cap space.
Join the dots and don’t look back …
Fair enough - Care to list your own for me to have a pot shot at?I'm sorry but these are horrible suggestions
SEN app. Just search for Weitering in the podcast section

Haven't really thought about it, but half your list will most likely retire this year.Fair enough - Care to list your own for me to have a pot shot at?
Yeah well if you go digging through what's available, there isn't a lot to choose from.Haven't really thought about it, but half your list will most likely retire this year.
They're all just footballers with human bodies.Yeah well if you go digging through what's available, there isn't a lot to choose from.
That's a fair point. Poaching players young enough to fill gaps in the list is largely going to fall the way of contracted players now if you don't want to Draft & develop your own, which means coughing up.Should have kept Doc if that was the direction we were going
If the rumours have any legs and he wants to go to GCS, it has to be a deal that involves Ben King coming to Carlton or they can GAGF.Charlie reportedly wants a change though, we aren't shopping him around. My theory is that the cat got out of the bag before he wanted it to and had to back track. The club have said he isn't up for trade but make no mistake, if the right deal presents itself, they will look at it (given he wants a change which by default means he isn't all in with us).
Re his form, if he was hampered, underprepared or injured he shouldn't have been playing.
Yep exactlyIf the rumours have any legs and he wants to go to GCS, it has to be a deal that involves Ben King coming to Carlton or they can GAGF.
If he wants to go to Geelong and surf more, no problem. Minimum price involving Max Holmes or Ollie Dempsey coming to Carlton or they can also GAGF.
Any deal where anyone's offering scraps and a couple of token draft picks, we just fart in their general direction and walk away. We hold all the cards in any trade negotiations.
Do you think free agents would be interested in going there if they hadn’t signed NWM?I wonder if Bassat realises that signing his own player doesn’t actually do anything to improve the list?
Swans have a history of chasing gun forwards. It is their biggest current hole. Their candidates are “almost” types and haven’t consistently performed. Plugger, Big bad Barry, Buddy, they have a history.Swans coming for Charlie according to today’s herald sun
Exactly what I’ve been saying too.I wonder if Bassat realises that signing his own player doesn’t actually do anything to improve the list?
