Wasn't Petch linked to us years ago? Not sure he's up to AFL standard anymore but always had speed, which we lack.

I expected Lemmey to be cut - maybe an indication that Charlie will stay. Hope he gets re-rookie as he probably got stiffed not debuting late in the season.

Feel for Cinca as well, who's just had a rough run with injury this year. Aside from a few good games, we need to move past Fantasia types, too.

He was excellent against WC early this year, but granted hasn't looked right since.

Suspect with Fogarty, Durdin, Binns, Boyd and Acres all comfortably contracted life will be hard for those on the fringe this year.

Sad to see Cinc's body fail him so spectacularly over the last 12-ish months.

Disappointed to see Lemmey gone. Thought he deserved an opportunity in the firsts before they delisted him. However, I did ask when he wasn't picked after good performances in the VFL if the writing was on the wall. Turns out it was.

Yep definitely don't need stacks of key forwards, Harry, assumedly Charlie and more games into HoK along with Kemp more than enough. Moir, Frank, E Hols, Williams, Cotts and hopefully add a classy half forward and we're good to go.

McKay, Kemp, Moir with HOK & Pittonet as the resting ruck seems more than enough on the off chance Charlie goes

I understand Lemmey has been a very slow burn but we have absolutely no young developing KPF’s on the list at all now…

On the flip side we will have only just picked up HOF and now Dean as future KPD’s in the last 12 months, ive been mentioning this for the past 5 years about our lack of depth in both areas, it’s certainly a head scratcher…

Add to that the lack of quality small/medium forwards and speed/run in the midfield and flanks which has also been just as obvious as well…

At least keep him as a rookie for another year while we can accumulate a few more for the longer term, as well as list balance including our reserves team…

Don't know about begin again, but I think we need to be clear about where we are.

List decisions need to be made with a view to thing being Walsh/Weitering/McKay's team.

Cripps, Hewett, Saad, Williams, Newman, Acres et al are welcome to stick around for the ride so long as they are contributing and not in the way of developing youth.

When I say 'start over', I don't mean total wipe-out but I do think we should be prioritizing finding the new versions of those first listed players, starting immediately. If those players are on the backend of a premiership then so be it but the odds aren't stacked in their favour anytime soon. No good bottoming out when Tassie hog the draft.

I want Fogarty gone as he has been gifted games for a long time now. Just so we dont say oh we have nothing else so we play him. Durdin on thin ice too. He has skills but doesnt do enough. But i would keep him for one more year but put him on notice.

An area that Austin and his team will need to improve going forward. Acres aside, really bad management having that many fringe players on multi-year deals.

No idea to be honest but it lines up. He's had multiple fitness issues the last year. Mostly the hip but not limited to it.

Think a Geelong (who he played extremely well against in 2024) will consider him.

I do think there will be more but we need to see if those contracted players can find a home etc or we have space in the cap to delist and put someone else on the list ala O’Brien from a a few years ago when he was contracted
