I legitimately rate all the blokes we're linked with. Even Petrucelle, has speed to burn but hasnt come on being in a shit system for so long, throw in a few injuries and that's all she wrote.

He's been at the Eagles for 7 years. They weren't rubbish in his first 4 years ... he has shown nothing. I'd only trade him in for the half time sprint, not football.

Curnow has been a superstar in reputation only the past two years. Either coasting or unfit or hurt or drinking his own bath water. It’s scary and it’ll hurt, but moving on if we get good value back might be exactly what we need.

Charlie is a freak when he's fit and firing, and I’d genuinely love for him to stay. But if it came down to choosing between him and McKay, I’d honestly let Charlie go.

Harry has proven he can lead the forward line as the main target — not just in patches, but over a full season. He literally won a Coleman Medal doing exactly that while Charlie was injured. Even towards the end of this year, he reminded everyone that he still has the ability to dominate in that role when given the responsibility.

Charlie, as brilliant as he can be, performs best when he has a strong foil to take the heat off him. When he’s the main focus of the defence, his impact can be limited. That’s not a knock — it’s just a different player profile. Hes got athletism and X-factor

Leadership-wise, I actually think Harry brings more to the table. He’s not the loudest voice, but he leads by example. He’s taken young players like Harry Lemmey, HOK, and Young under his wing and is clearly invested in their development — that kind of mentorship matters.

Again, I’d love to keep Charlie. But if the right offer comes in, I’d thank him for everything and back McKay to continue leading our forward line.

Why, did we give him a chance after he was standing up by himself if the VFL and doing ok?
Before you ask, yes we could have played him and HoK, McKay and pushed Moir further up but we just don’t know how to ‘experiment’. We kept playing the 5 smalls in Mots, Evans, White, Durds, Fog.

People are judging from what they hoped Lemmey would be, rather than from what he was.

It would only be an odd decision on balance if they didn't plan on addressing it through the draft.

I reckon there’s a fair chance Wright has shopped him around already to various player managers and they’ve all come back saying he’s worthless. Now he’s told the player to shop himself around so he can find out himself then realise his one lifeline is to hang on to his precarious contract with Carlton and make it work or face football oblivion. Maybe a little time pondering his football mortality will make him wake up and be an adult.

There is something seriously rotten at the club. What the hell happened in the last 18 months?

Or are we fixing the mistakes of years past? Have we been successful over the last 10 years? Hardly.

We need to have faith in the CEO and the coach. For way too long, as a club, we've allowed the players and the coteries control the club. I have faith that Wright will crack the whip and put the coteries in their place and get the players under control.

I hate to say this, but JSOS's attitude is emblematic of the issues the club has with the players. "I felt unloved by the club"... WTAF does that mean? The supporter base loved you because of your surname. The club wouldn't give you what you thought you were worth? FFS grow up you ****ing prat. You're a professional sportsperson... not a son/father/daughter/mother to the supporter base. If you want love, go see your dad. He wouldn't even show up for your 100th game celebration where you got your name on the locker below his and your grandfather. The supporters and the club gave you more love than your father did.

Some of our players would run through brick walls to play. Doc was a great example... after 2 bouts of cancer, and 3 ACL injuries... he still got up and came in to play. TDK, this year, couldn't run through a piece of tissue paper for the club. I can sort of understand him, 1.7 million is a big ****ing deal. But still, show some spirit next year sunshine or the Aint's supporters will realise what we did this year. You're there for the money.

We need to support Voss and the CEO... because if we keep letting the tail wag the dog, we won't have a dog in the game any more.

I would have given him a 1+1 with the promise of a debut next year. He should have debuted a couple of weeks ago, but he did his hamstring. Either way, he's gone now and he isn't going to be coming back to make a miracle return like Carroll did.

I will back the clubs decision on Lemmey, Looked pretty good against a couple of very poor sides, but always seemed to have little impact

when playing against stronger opponent's. Maybe he has the talent to make it, just not the mongrel that is required at the highest level.

A little surprised but Lemmy doesn’t bother me. If he was running around playing like he did this season at Port Melbourne I wouldn’t be hoping we picked him up and the club has a lot more to judge him on than that.
