Easily, imagine we'd want a bit back if we were giving up a top 10. Probably worth something in the 20s.
Really need to offload Binns and Acres contracts. These guys are surplus and are taking up vital list spots.
Anything is better than nothing. Just another big bloke to get us through the next 12 months.

However I still love you brother. We all have our pov's.
Would rather keep Lij (if redeemable) and McGovern, then these guys. Think we have enough depth in their positions now and have replaced with better options (pending Curnow trade).
There was a fella who played in the reserves late in the season, could be an option in the rookie draft, ideally we place O'Farrell on the LTI and he takes that spot. I think there are other names out there as well. Perhaps Jacob Blight could be a better option.
I am happy with Young as our CHB for a year but yeah, there are always are injuries.
I think Binns and Boyd will be paid out. Acres is great depth.
Boyd is an interesting one. I think he could definitely be paid out. Surplus to needs. Not young anymore and went backwards this year.
In either case, we need to stop giving these fringe players 2–3-year deals. I get Austin is probably locking in a basement salary for an extra year's security, but Im not sure it's not worth it.
I actually think we won't pay out Elijah Hollands. I think we are serious about rehoming him. I get the feeling that our plan here is to give him a big kick up the arse and keep him or offload him and we are happy to do either.
I think if he stays he is someone who has to be kept on a one year contract ongoing or traded. He is someone who can not be allowed to be complacent, he needs to be kept hungry and in line with a short contract, nearly all players are to a point IMO.
If he pulls his head in, has a really good year, end of next year we offer him a one year contract and if he fails to accept that, then at least he may have risen his trade value from 0 to something and we get something for him as opposed to getting nothing for him.

problem is, there's apparently zero interest from any other clubs (& if there was, why would they engage with us now rather than waiting until we cut him to pick him up as a dfa/rookier/ssp/etc)

What do you think we can turn it into?
Basically if Weiters goes down we have no reliable option for KPD - Young did it last time Weiters was LTI but i don't think he can recapture that form
Certainly put Acres off our list numbers but are there any takers?
Binns needs drastic work on his disposal and to bulk up.
Lucas Camporeale needs to be in skills training sessions with him.
Fogarty is going to find it hard to crack a game as a forward. Think he’ll be a midfielder in the VFL as we’re short in that dept if AFL B23 is including everyone.
Could almost put Boyd in the offload basket as well - not sure what happened to him last off-season but he dropped off the cliff.
All good VFL players and depth at AFL level (which is what we wanted) if they can improve their on-field liabilities.
Recruiting a repeat DV perpetrator definitely isn’t the way.
