I’d offer our picks 9, 11 and Sydney's 2027 1st to West Coast for their pick 2 (only if it gets us Robey) with their 2025 picks 34, 41 and their 2026 and 2027 2nds coming our way. Of course I don’t want to just give away a 2027 1st, but I’d say after TAS come in, the Sydney 1st is probably late 20s???

I’m not one to add up points etc for the Dean bid but feel like we can find a way to cover with other trades if need be so haven’t calculated.

We are set for the 2026 draft with 2 x 1sts for Cody (most likely) and finding a way to get Robey this year seems like a sensible move to add to Dean and Ison.

I say our time is now! Get Robey, Dean and Ison this draft.

Keen on Derksen if GWS delist him which I suspect may be a chance with Aleer returning.

Absolutely dominated VFL level this year and hungry as anything for a shot.

Blight be a good pick up too but I suspect a lot of clubs will be vying for his services.

Surprised on the about face from MFC here, another potentially left in the lurch..didn’t sound likely to get another contract at GWS.

Was he over his injuries this year?

Could it be possible that we only take Dean and Ison in this years draft
and promote a rookie to satisfy the minimum requirements.

Then something like trade 9 to Nth for pick 26 and F2.

Pick 11 for Dean and 26 for Ison and 3 picks next year in the top 25.

That would be retrogressive. We could get more than that with pick 9.

Robey would be the icing to that list. He's a genuine A grade 'talent' who would compliment Walsh, Jagga and Cody as a bigger body with explosive athleticism. Cerra the perfect defensive defensive ball winner to go with that lot imo.

Still don't think Ben and Lord will end up good enough by foot to be anything more than strong role players but if they do develop into stars even better for us.

Lord…hits more lace out passes than most of our other players.

I think end of year he was still struggling to get back but I didn't pay enough attention to their reports in terms of rehab etc. When he's been fit and healthy over the last 18 months he's been massive at that level.

Lord…hits more lace out passes than most of our other players.

Not sure I'd agree with that. He's had more than 1 goal assist once in his career.

Good young player and keen to see how he develops next year but I have my worries about his ball use and speed in regards to the overall mix of our midfield.

His tagging work late in the year was quality which at least gives him another string to his bow that others on our list don't have.

Elijah is a watch. Feel is he is gone. Badly burnt some bridges but also has a few players strongly pushing for him to get another chance.

Be very interesting with what we are trying to achieve how this plays out

Feels like it and we basically recruited players that he would be directly competing with for a game…

Lists spots tight and with the coach and footy managers comments I don’t think he survives

Ahhhh the beauty of depth lol. Can see it happening against some teams think we’ll see it a bit more this year than in past years as I think there’ll be whole team buy in from round 1

I have no idea what bridges he's burnt or what he's done wrong.

But based on pure talent I hope he gets 1 last go. There are guys running around at other clubs that have genuine police charges and they still got another go.

One last go.

If he gets his head right he will be a 30 goal a year forward for us. A connector from midfield to forward line.

Ideally Smiley Acres would have been shipped off. Can’t see him being selected much if he brings that dross from this year and his kicking remains at his level.. will give him an out with the back surgery but that was one poor season.

Feel we’re biding time with Fogarty, Boyd and Binns too along with Motlop for an extra 2yrs as another unnecessary extension. Travesty if we offload EH because of list numbers without further assessment to redeem himself.

Wouldn't be any worse than Duursma, Greeves, Grlj etc that's for sure.

Said this last year, would love to see him tried to take over from Newy down back when the time comes. Just hope he gets 1 more crack and takes the most of it.

Would be such a shame to lose a talent like him because he can't sort himself out.

Been watching the footy stuff YouTube channel of his game highlights (only got my view off that) Seen some absolutely terrible kicks in there in terms of field kicking. Goal kicking seems ok. I know he’s a better prospect than Lindsay but I’d rather someone like Lindsay for our list

You can provide run & pace from the wing.
Could also say that he had been wasted on the inside with some of his performances. Extra space on the outside can assist him.

I think trading up depends on how well placed we think we are with trade/free agency targets.

If we think we're a realistic shot at Butters/Humphrey next off-season, we have to maintain our assets so that we're ready to make the deal happen.

I like Robey, but I like those two even more.
