That Matt Johnson is one of the highest goal scorers in the VFL and is a medium sized forward right? Sounds like a decent option anyway.

Think a medium forward from the state leagues is what we need along with a draftee earlier on.

Hosie from the SANFL has also been mentioned. The advantage with Hosie is he's a previously delisted player meaning we can have greater control of him actually getting on our list - DFA and SSP pre-listing are both options rather than just the drafts and a SSP train on.

Draper can be but i don't think Davies is. Draper was pretty horid in the majority of game he played for us this year

I want Draper to replace Chappy in the backline and move Chappy up the ground.

There was an ad where a guy was waiting in line at the bar saying "two gin and tonics, two vodkas and a scotch" passes a guy walking away from the bar looking confused at the drinks in his hands, walks to the bar to see a very pretty woman with a billboard sized chest reading "Cougar" and he says "Five cougars thanks!"

I wouldn't worry too much about our key backman depth, Draper is Pearce's replacement when it's all said and done, he'll do very well in the role when the time comes, I haven't seen enough of Davies, but from all reports it sounds like he's had a good WAFL season.

Most teams run with three KPDs. We don't because Ryan effectively plays with the third one.

I can see a world where Draper and Davies replace Pearce and Ryan. Foot skill it's breakeven IMO and we should rely less on Ryan for kick ins etc when another kicker replaces Banfield in our back six.

Yes and the cycle of our team remaining inexperienced continues.

I think the worst part is the most experienced player left on our list probably shouldn't be getting regular games next season either.
