You are kidding yourself , I've watched every Freo womens game this year , we are going backwards fast, we have played two of the top teams and got pumped hard , we will lose to WC this week , that's how bad we are .Wouldn't get a game for us
We made finals last year, we aren't a bottom 4 club
We have had a tough draw to start the season
Just a but of thought on a Liam Reidy trade. If Carlton get an end of first round pick for Silvagni is that pick gettable?
Carlton have a father son who'll go first round. Assuming he's going after TDK compensation pick, Carlton might be interested in downgrading the end of first round pick.
All this involves our second rounder of course, along with one or two of third rounders (haven't done the maths on points). Reidy is then thrown is as steak knives.
We'd enter the draft with two first rounders and most likely two fourth rounders (Port's and our own). Realistically it'll be two first rounders and Whan.
All this assumes McVee re-signs with Melbourne of course.

I am, huge waste of money...Not even Facebook comments. Plenty on here will be very upset
We should ask the question of Zach Merrett... nothing to lose.
Agree, I don't see him leaving Vic either, but I bet our club wouldn't have even had a conversation... be aggressive, throw a big contract in front of him and put your hat in the ring, instead of just sitting on the sidelines... even if all it does is force a Vic club to have to pay more to get him.Would be perfect for us and the crows, but I don't see him leaving Vic.
This is a massive advantage the vic teams have. If they need a player, of type x, there is more than likely one on the market.
Any other time I'd usually cheer for Adelaide but they've completely shown their asses with this homophobia saga and how poorly they've handled it. Hard to want to see them win.I like the Rivers idea - fast, dynamic, tough, passionate..
Any ideas for a goalkicking tackling machine forward? Paul Curtis?
Just a thought on the Merrett saga... interesting how the two meetings Mitchell has had with opposition captains got leaked to the media, making it extremely difficult for the captains to return to their clubs. What a ruthless operator he is. Fortunately Freo fans don't forget his sniper's knee to Fyfe in 2015...
I'll be barracking for Adelaide tonight.
I heard some one in 91.3 fm saying that He wont come to the game today and instead talking to other club playersI like the Rivers idea - fast, dynamic, tough, passionate..

The only concern for me would be how does his salary impact our cap? There’s at what price?
Honestly, I wouldn’t even take him for a 3rd rounder. He’s essentially the same mould as Serong and Lachie's output is only on the decline. Factor in soft tissues and it’s a gamble that is probably heavier weighted towards no good.
I’d also not take him back for the fact he did walk out on the club. Unsure how we just go ‘oh hey buddy, welcome back. Congrats on playing your prime years with the Lions and winning a flag’
What's the point? 1 year? What does that do?unpopular opinion, I would take Neale back for 1 year with the plan to make him an assistant
Of course, I watch every gameSeen the results so far?
Swans beat us.

Saints plan to bid as early as possibleThere was an article posted a couple of posts back which suggests recruiters think there is a clear top 6 in the draft and Carlton's F/S is one of them. Which surprised me to read that, as I haven't seen any rankings that have him that high.
Would be perfect for us and the crows, but I don't see him leaving Vic.

Look I’m not a huge fan but if he’s kicking 30 goals each year and can improve his tackling etc then I’m not going to be too worried.
I wouldn’t just because of sheer pettinessunpopular opinion, I would take Neale back for 1 year with the plan to make him an assistant
I like the thinking but legitimately for Reidy it will unlikely be anything useful. He is out of contract and has played 3 games. Clearly not highly regarded by Freo.Just a but of thought on a Liam Reidy trade. If Carlton get an end of first round pick for Silvagni is that pick gettable?

Zach's copping for heat on how he has handled this.We should ask the question of Zach Merrett... nothing to lose.
