Yeah not really talking about potency tho E with regards to those players you mentioned. When Switta, Bolton and Reid are all on together with Freddy and the big 3 that is pretty potent. The 2nd Q against the dogs showed how well it can work.
I’m on who thinks we need gun wingers more than any other area.
The Langdon, Acres, Hill type who link up with the defenders and connect in the transition phase, smart footballers who can gut run all day are crucial.
Sharp was doing it well till he fell off a cliff. Would like to see Chapman tried in the role & bring Simpson, Walker back to defense.
West Coast are in the running for him.Where’s all this butler talk coming from though?
He’s from Ballarat is he not, why do people think he would come here?
Him and another Hawk (Worpel?) have said they want out and out of contract.Where’s all this butler talk coming from though?

Worpel is being pushed out and going to Geelong. Not really wanting out, Hawks don't care if he leavesHim and another Hawk (Worpel?) have said they want out and out of contract.
I agree. Definitely double standards. Not disputing Rankine was wrong and I think he was well and truly punished for it.
However I thought Bailey Smiths behaviour at an open training session earlier this week toward a female photographer who was doing absolutely nothing wrong was disgraceful and he’s basically gotten off Scott-free (pardon the pun). He was a nasty prick and a misogynist in that incident for no apparent reason whatsoever.
Not a word about it in the media from some of the same people who absolutely castigated Rankine.
It’s just one example of the disproportionate reaction to these kind of unsavoury incidents in the AFL media.
Yes I know. It's actually Hustlewaite.Worpel is being pushed out and going to Geelong. Not really wanting out, Hawks don't care if he leaves
He was actually coming back from a really bad injury this season as well and it depends what they are offering someone like him when they are throwing money at elite players everywhere.Butler was lack of opportunity though. I imagine now that he’s playing in a prelim and potentially a gf then he’d be likely to re sign.
TrueYou’d think with Breust retiring, Butler had a spot in the Hawks forward line. Just about $$$ now that he’s started looking around
This. Had this exact chat with duff.Beau McCreery would be ideal. Tough and hard, with good disposal and a hard runner
Breust only played 8 games this year and 5 of those started as the sub, so he doesn't open up that many opportunities. Hawks usually played Gunston, Chol, Dear/Lewis as the talls and then Watson, Ginnivan, Moore, and MacDonald as the smalls, so it'll still be tough for Butler to get a game. You’d think with Breust retiring, Butler had a spot in the Hawks forward line. Hopefully you also had a chat with someone inside the club? This. Had this exact chat with duff.
Expect it’ll go the same way as Neil Erasmus tbh.Breust only played 8 games this year and 5 of those started as the sub, so he doesn't open up that many opportunities. They have a salary squeeze, we could offer a six year contract and outbid them.This. Had this exact chat with duff.
Seems very close to his mum and family. Can’t see him leaving Melbourne.Beau McCreery would be ideal. Tough and hard, with good disposal and a hard runner
