Yes - I realise rookie can be placed as LTI. I’m not yet giving up on Sturt. Even with a proppy knee earlier this year he was favoured in the starting team. Might as well keep him on Ptimary list and then LTI.
Carr for mine is still a year or so of development and size away from being considered. Played a heap of WAFL reserves.
I realise Dudley replaces Jones thathis what I meant by incl. him as confirmed replacement for Jones.

There are a few that are worried the eagles will swoop in. Pyke made a comment when asked. Ain’t going to happen.
Walls stating we have three senior list spots and three rookie spots rather than saying the ranges makes me think he's pretty set on 36-6.
But then again I've been of the opinion the club won't differ from 36-6 for some time.

Brodie and Reidy are honestly probably the two least valuable players Freo has ever traded from a draft pick perspective.
Involving a first rounder for McVee is in the realms of possibility even if none of is want or expect it to happen. I think you know it too.
Brodie is partly due to his contract so is basically free.
I recon Reidy is 3rd rounder material considering the lack of rucks and the Meek factor. He’s not rated around this board but won the Peel B&F, is coming into his Ruck prime and would be worth a punt. Meek / Voss 2.0 or Bust but a 3rd rounder is not that flash once the draft is fixed with actual values and less junk picks for guns.
Reidy could be a small 2nd round upgrade over a straight late 3rd but won’t be since Carlton have none. McVee trade won’t involve a first rounder as they are way to valuable, even if we want to flip it to next year.

Reidy & 29 for McVee
Carlton give 44 & get Reidy
Melbourne give McVee & get 29 & 44
I don't mind this thinking but honestly don't think Reidy is worth that much.
Once Carlton trade back pick 8 and have a few more picks in the second and third round to play with there might might be an opportunity to involve them in the McVee trade directly or indirectly.
As I said don't think Reidy adds much value but it does mean we're trading with Carlton anyway and they will be doing puck swaps and/or looking for the types of picks we have to trade for their trade targets.
Too many moving parts there for me to put a trade suggestion together at this stage. Sure I'll have a go at some point though.
There's not much you can do about the Reidy situation. He's only ever getting a game if one of our other 2 rucks are injured. He knows it, we know it. There are plenty of other teams without a 2nd decent ruckmen who he's gonna be much better off going to. He'll leave and we'll get nothing, that's just the way it goes sometimes.

He looked like Jack Hannath out there in Rd 1.
He wasn’t even getting a game when one of ruckmen was injured. Only round 1, and he spudded up so badly he was moved forward in the third quarter. Jackson started to get into the game as ruck and we got the game back (thanks to our rising start as well). Start of the final quarter was an arm wrestle - Geelong possessing the ball for the first 7-8mins. Then got a goal. Jackson needed a spell and Reidy then started the rot again. Banished to WAFL for the remainder of the year.
We went with Voss backing up Jackson until Jackson was injured at which time we then brought in Darcy off a single managed mins WAFL game instead of Reidy. An underdone Darcy then went with Voss or MacDonald until Jackson was fit again.
Reidy is not worth 44. If we chuck our pick 48 or whatever it is that will prob work. Maybe Melbourne throw 55 into the mix as well.
Fremantle: McVee, 55
Melbourne: 30,45
Carlton: Reidy, 48
Maybe we can swap F4’s as well for the s*#ts and giggles but Reidy isn’t worth much. He could end up declining out contract offer and end up added as a DFA.

Lol Reidy winning the Peel B+F says way more about Peel than it does Reidy
I’m a bit worried about Peel next year , they’ve lost a lot of good players to MSD and the like and IMO our potential below our AFL types is the worst it’s been for a long long time
With Reidy and Brodie out we could be not Beagles bad but heading that way
AFL team SHOULD be able to handle a reasonable level of injury and stay competitive but Peel …. eucchh

Id say we have no interest at his rate. I don't think our framework has room for highly paid role players.
