Don't think he is leaving for financial reasons. With Melbourne shedding older players now I wonder if they will put a better offer to McVee and we miss out.
Sort of get the vibe it's us or nothing.Don't think he is leaving for financial reasons.

They’ve been negotiating a contract extension with him for 18 months. Offered up to a 4 year extension. His meeting with King had him playing as an attacking half back. And still he requested a trade to us. Would be very surprised if there anything left they can do to convince him to change mind. Especially when it’s looking like going full rebuild. With Melbourne shedding older players now I wonder if they will put a better offer to McVee and we miss out.
I wish they had started with the small forwardsMelbourne are straight gutting that joint
Sam Edmund reporting they're willing to pay just over half, $700,000. I'm not completely against itTo play devils advocate, a bit of a consensus is Cripps would be perfect.
Oliver, is younger, would be cheaper from draft picks perspective and I'm sure you could get Melbourne to chuck in a lot salary wise.
It would have to be tempting...
I think Freo should be all over that. Addresses a major hole and the risk sounds A LOT less.Sam Edmund reporting they're willing to pay just over half, $700,000. I'm not completely against it

Clarry is young enough there is a chance he gets back close to his best. Hogan did
Thing I find most bizarre about this is that Oliver is apparently on $1.4million or thereabouts.Sam Edmund reporting they're willing to pay just over half, $700,000. I'm not completely against it
Has JOM vibes to me tbh.I’m in the Oliver band wagon, if Melbourne are willing to pay $700 000 of his salary a year and Freo think they can win premiership in the next 5 years this is a no brainer.
Watch clubs like Geelong be all over this. I’d be disappointed if Freo aren’t having a red hot crack.
he only turned 28 3 months ago and 700k isnt all that anymore. I think it should be very tempting for any contender, hell, WC could do worse...Has JOM vibes to me tbh.
Isn't a 700k a year player anymore IMO.
700k is a bargain these days. New environment and point to prove could be huge.Has JOM vibes to me tbh.

If Jess Hogan can turn himself around, so can OliverOliver? Are we all taking crazy pills??
You and I both know he’s heading to Cats for an F3 hahaI think Freo should be all over that. Addresses a major hole and the risk sounds A LOT less.

Honestly I don't think he's played better than the average best 23 player across the competition in the last few years.700k is a bargain these days. New environment and point to prove could be huge.
If we bring Oliver, as the largest ginger, does he simply have to eat Davies?Being a redhead do you think Oliver would wear a hat at training over here?
Not about what he’s done. About what he could do. Hogan won a Coleman after doing sfa for usHonestly I don't think he's played better than the average best 23 player across the competition in the last few years.
What's the median wage for a players aged between 26 and 30? Tbh I'm not sure hes worth more than whatever that is anymore.
