Walls has said we are looking to move up. I think we need to try and move our second pick up a little to satisfy Melbourne.
Also Gold Coast are looking at downgrading some picks; picks in the mid teens they will keep and look to offload some of their earlier ones. They have been widely known to be shopping around their pick 6.
We should be actually targeting one of pick 6/7 or 7/8 as an upgrade for our pick 12/13.

I watched the telecast of most the drafts. Hawks offered a trade to Freo for that pick.
No idea what the offer was though and Freo rejected it.
Will work out well for you, we did the development of Serong and you reap the reward.
Where ever he goes I will enjoy watching his continued development and wish him every success ( not against us of cause )

Geez that's some small good news. Means our Pick 11 will start the draft at pick 13 now. If you go by the majority of the mocks it will be used at pick 17-20 after bidding.

No inside info…. If you’re moving away from family for the first time, it will be nice to have family close by. Also he knows Jaegar O’Meara.
I think Freo will trump Sydney as long as the swans don’t offer more security than you.
I reckon it’s a shoe in. He will want to play with Caleb.

Oscar Allen was offerred less money than Draper according to some of the trade reporters. WC might not get Band 1 compensation after all.

I agree. I think he has only met with Longmuir thus far.
Saint Kilda have chosen to put their short term future on trading players in rather than trying to improve via the draft. They are going all in too, no messing about.
I think this is the direction the competition is going to follow with such a compromised first round of the draft as we currently have.
Just why the AFL are letting the opportunity for clubs to rebuild via the draft weaken is baffling. The Richmond method of 2024 versus the Saints 2025 shopping expedition should give a reasonable example of each method as the future seasons unfold.
The Saints need this to work for them or they will be back in the doldrums in 3 to 4 years.

Saints won’t win a final in the next 2 years and then NWM is gonna bounce.
The guys they’re bringing in aren’t actually that good imo so I think they’re ****ed.
Good luck to these guys in the rebuild after that when Tasmania comes in and takes over the top end of the draft for several years.
Can West Coast match? I assume Brisbane know like Daniher they need to stump up enough salary even upfront to trigger band 1.

Absolutely. flipping sick of these top draft picks not getting bid on where they should. Daicos at 4 was the worst, he was easily the best in his draft.
