Im a trade board mod now, no longer Freo board mod. I would have waited until the last day, seen where the busiest trade period of all time lands, got involved in 100 phone calls from other list managers and found a trade that works better for Freo.Well your a mod, go on then.
We needed Judd, seems like a no brainer, how would you have made it happen?
I expect Pick 46 to be inside Pick 40 on draft night tbh. Whan doesn't go before that pick. Can someone outline our NGAs and projected pick.
We keep mentioning Whan. Is he just a match with 46.
What are we doing with 19?
Im pretty sure the ants would NOT help my moodHave you tried the sand down at the ARC?
Ok but you realise we can end up with those three players this year while also having moved 33 into next year for extra points and there was no reason to give it up in this trade specifically?Indeed, but now you see why you as an accountant find it so grating.
I don't grade based on a notion of pick value because a sports draft is not a known system like an economy. There's no good or bad in this, only outcome matters.
No one cares we had pick 17 last year because the outcome was Reid. If our outcome this year is Rodriguez, Whan, and McVee, plus an SSP and they all work out, then outcome has trumped faux pick value.
It is a waste of energy to be upset about something when you only have a small fraction of the full picture of information.
I'm very happy we got McVee who clearly improves our squad. I would also be very happy to pick up Fred and Toby, ergo I don't give a shit about 200 points of pick value.

I don't really understand where you're getting that hidden value from. Ostensibly we have dropped a few hundred points of pick value, far below what would be required for a future second.Ok but you realise we can end up with those three players this year while also having moved 33 into next year for extra points and there was no reason to give it up in this trade specifically?
I am happy we got McVee for a reasonable price. If you are not going to be pissed off at the pick trade as it stands we shouldnt bother discussing trades because there is nothing the club can do that is not just worthy of praiseIndeed, but now you see why you as an accountant find it so grating.

Do you think your trade board ego is affecting your moodIm a trade board mod now, no longer Freo board mod. I would have waited until the last day, seen where the busiest trade period of all time lands, got involved in 100 phone calls from other list managers and found a trade that works better for Freo.
And if somehow absolutely nothing came up in all that Id have offered Melbourne pick 33 and a future 3rd and say have it.

You don't have to be an accountant to realise you've been ripped off.No, you're just acting like an accountant.
I havent even gone on there the last few hours, I might throw my phone out the windows if I didDo you think your trade board ego is affecting your mood![]()
The world is not black and white. Not being upset does not mean one is happy. I'm happy at the outcome.I am happy we got McVee for a reasonable price. It's a joke because he is actually an accountantYou don't have to be an accountant to realise you've been ripped off.
. I'm enjoying pushing buttons because I think it's amusing that people are upset at this. Not all heroes wear capesThe only extra gear I have is getting mean which its taking every bone in my body not to do. Though "shit-sipper" and seeing people liked it really had me straining.
Point is there were better uses for 33 than trading it away for a trade that didn't need itI don't really understand where you're getting that hidden value from. Ostensibly we have dropped a few hundred points of pick value, far below what would be required for a future second.
Imagine Whan gets bid on early from here and we don't have the pointsI thought the weirdness with the late picks meant there was a piece missing but I just realised he's probably throwing out all the late picks out because we only need one to match a bid/draft Whan and apart from him we're only using one pick this draft.
We're not getting anything back. It's just wholesale.

3 new pages on here over losing value on some picks in a shit draft.
1 new post over yet another nepo hire.
You guys clearly have shit priorities and don't care about success.
Show me on the doll where I hurt you SnuffIf he was banning you, it was definitely earned![]()
Safest place for you right now is to be in the Warriors match thread. No trades there, plus you get to make fun of FalconistaI havent even gone on there the last few hours, I might throw my phone out the windows if I did
Lowkey I'd take that if it means everyone's actively melting on here. Keeps it interesting.Imagine Whan gets bid on early from here and we don't have the points![]()
Strong strawman argument. Im not arguing to win everything. I actively dont argue to win everything acknowledging its about the net outcome on trades multiple times over the years. The world is not black and white. Not being upset does not mean one is happy. I'm happy at the outcome.
When it comes to the first trade I am no emotion at all. It is neither good nor bad, it is just a mechanism to make other things happen.
There is such a sense of having to win everything despite the data that you're using to determine value being hugely flawed.

By the eagles no less!Ready for Whan to be bid on now inside the top 40 and we have to scramble for some points we threw away…
