If they can't nail an elite falsetto in karaoke then I'm not interested.I have no idea about the potential draftees so I will just list the generic qualities I expect our first round pick to possess:
- Height 190 -195cm
- sub 10 sec 100m
- sub 4 minute 1500m
- Able to go 12 rounds with Aleksandr Usyk
- IQ 135 or higher
- Laser like disposal by foot or hand on both sides.
- Excellent contested mark and contested possession winner
- Excellent decision maker
- 100% team player
- Utterly fearless
- Lives like a Trappist Monk ie eschews booze, drugs, women, music , social media and maintains a vow of silence always except at training or on the field.
- Votes conservative
- Likes cats.
I think this is a fairly modest start.
I'm not so sure....last time a club focussed on their player being a singer, he turned around and started slinging the F-slur everywhereIf they can't nail an elite falsetto in karaoke then I'm not interested.
I'd be keen! I've got the Hu on vinyl.I'm not so sure....last time a club focussed on their player being a singer, he turned around and started slinging the F-slur everywhere
Mongolian throat singing on the other hand...

Peel does.We already have one Bailey Banfield
Sounds boring. I want a bloke who kicks as many goals as he drank beers the night before the game and has as many disposals as he had shots the night before...Lives like a Trappist Monk ie eschews booze, drugs, women, music , social media and maintains a vow of silence always except at training or on the field.
With those attributes you would hope he loves women and starts producing father sons ASAPI have no idea about the potential draftees so I will just list the generic qualities I expect our first round pick to possess:

I agree with Sturt although would you do this before or after the draft. I guess we could do before and if Whan somehow manages to get through to Cat B rookie we could add Sturt back on primary list via PSD. Can’t see anyone jumping in on an injury prone and he won’t be available again until end of July. Not too keen to move up using future picks tbh. Would rather us just take the two picks as they come.
Would rather delist and re-rookie Sturt for three reasons:
- The salary cap benefits of going 36-6.
- Don't believe Whan gets a bid inside our second selection but think he's worth making sure we get him.
- If Sturt recovers well I think it's easier to justify a rookie list spot than senior list spot in 2027. Some would say he's broken at this point but IMO he's still got the ability to make enough impact over a 10-15 period to win us one or two important games.
On Whan it did seem Walls was open to going to 37-5 if needed.I agree with Sturt although would you do this before or after the draft. The way it looks is Walls would like to have two active picks 20 and 47. I’d be open to using an F3 to move either up a few spots but not F2. Then if Whan is bid in the main draft we will match which means we need to consider our options which would possibly mean moving a player to rookie (via delist and rookie list) or go 37 + 5. Our preferred is 36+6 but we want Whan on our list one way or another. The likelihood is he slips to >50 in ND or possibly rookie and in both scenarios we will select and make adjustments to our list.

ruck depth sortedHahaha as if my man bailey will ever be droppedPeel does.
We like rucks that can go forward.Mason Cox is availableruck depth sorted
Didn't JL try to recruit him once?
Did you hear something?Did Gold Coast delist Max Knobel?
I saw this tweet and came here to confirm. It's weird because if you look at the Gold Coast Big Footy board, the fans have NFI if Knobel is being offered a contract. It seems to depend on how many selections they are gonna use at the draft.Did you hear something?
Hope they did and he finds his way back. I'm thinking he would be more developed than Riddle, and may actually get an opportunity.
