He’s bald now there’s nothing holding him back anymoreI reckon Cox has one AA lock season in him. I'm talking genuine over east media heads considering him a lock.
I don't believe that he'll ever have more than one of those, or sit close to that for the rest of his career, but he certainly has one of those in him.
I just hope it's in a season we go deep into finals.
What's the goss?no thanks, wouldn't pass the no dickheads policy![]()
I think it might be that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. What's the goss?
Ok. The more revelations about Crowls come out, the more I feel more sympathetic towards pinchyI think it might be that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
That's way too old to draftHe’s 200 so would be undersized as a ruck and years off having the body. Could be a Pearce replacement though as he’s also played in defence before.
That was right in front of me . I still have nightmaresVoss also allowed Uwland to take the mark in the final mins of the EF which resulted in the kick to Andrew and the resulting goal.
Players make mistakes all the time, we just remember the ones that came at crucial times.
What's the goss?
Interesting recruit coming to Peel.
I wouldn't go near him tbh at this stage of his career.Mason Cox has stated that he wants to keep playing for another club.

Premiership Pie keen on second club
A Collingwood premiership player isn’t willing to wave goodbye to the AFL after being delisted – he wants to contribute at a second club in 2026.thewest.com.au
Is Chapman someone we can move in the middle there with more depth at Halfback.Need some midfield depth.
Will Philips is a cheap option. Ted Clohesy from Geelong looks like a solid option.
Just feel that Brodie leaving, Fyfe retiring with JOM’s last year in 2026 there isn’t enough depth at that level
Partif as a train on over summer makes a lot of sense to me, already in WANeed some midfield depth.

Plodders and has-beens? Yeah that tracks with West Coasts list management
I'd say we've lost Fyfe more than anyone. Depth wise it's also planning for JOM to go in twelve months.I’d consider Clohessy but I read somewhere he has another club lined up.
As for Hobbs, Phillips etc. they both haven’t shown progress and are not quick nor efficient by foot. Even though Hobbs has played more games than Erasmus and Johnson from the same draft he has not improved and gone backwards. I think they will both get an opportunity via rookie draft or SSP. West Coast were reportedly interested in Phillips.
We were interested in Milan Murdoch who to be honest even be it at WAFL works harder off the ball, has tidier foot skills and covers the ground much quicker.
All we have lost is Brodie. We don’t need to replace him with a genuine list clogger.
I'm curious if Hobbs could be developed into something else at a club that has actual...well, development capabilities. Or is he a case of Dev Robertson where he hit his ceiling early and the game has gone past him?As for Hobbs, Phillips etc. they both haven’t shown progress and are not quick nor efficient by foot. (I'm not curious enough to want it to be our club tho)
The problem is we have WAFL selection rules as a partnered club (West Coast as a standalone don't) + we have a much higher floor of our best 23. Filling the extra rookie spots with basically a bunch of Will Brodies makes some sense for West Coast, but for us at some point it'd get in the way of players we'd actually want to develop. If we had four AFL funded extra spots I'd have a serious look at all of them too. Peel flag in 2026, maybe opportunity opens in the AFL side for one of the younger ones and they thrive in a better suited role, in a better side, than they had at North and Essendon. Then who knows.
More than likely all four never contribute at AFL level again, but they'll dominate at the WAFL level
