That looks like a pretty good offer to me.
It shows Hawks how much more they need to offer. I think it is a very fair offer.
Seems weird to say but I recon that's a bad deal for both teams

If Rosa turns that down he will be the new Dildoro.
That for a 30 year old? Mental not to take it
That’s why Sydney actually want pick 22 back, not “a late pick” as per that snipSeems weird to say but I recon that's a bad deal for both teams
I don't know about that.
Pick 9 (which should slide a few spots) in a draft most people think is terrible, plus a likely pick 20ish, plus some garbage. I really hope Essendon say no.
Keep in mind my viewpoint is biased by a deep seated hatred of Hawthorn.
Player ability or game strategy?I think it shows the contribution to scoring of the Lions midfield over ours.
When listing the Fremantle and Lions mids by average goals scored, Brisbane hold 7/10 of the top. Bolton at 2, Young at 3, Brayshaw at 9.
Sum of the averages of the top ten:
Brisbane 4.4 (0.63 per player)
Freo 2.3 (0.76 per player)
They overwhelm us with contributors, and our second best barely played.
As much as I hate to say it as it makes Hawks stronger in the short term, Bombers should take that deal. They’re dog shit WITH Merret. He’s 30 years old.
They need to clean that joint out. Two extra firsts can be a lot of currency for pick trading into next year
I hope they say no for our own benefit but Essendon would be completely stupid not to take it.I don't know about that.

Haha
Player ability or game strategy?
More of the latter I think.
A good deal for Essendon is probably a bad deal for the Hawks. He could get injured and go down hill very quickly and they burn a lot of capital. I like to do my planning on if both those picks are the 2025 & 2026 versions of Murphy Reid.I hope they say no for our own benefit but Essendon would be completely stupid not to take it.
Mediocre? I'll accept him.Pretty average.

Yeah but he's 30...I am clearly in the minority, but I still don't think it is that great a deal when a bitter rival has come hard for your contracted skipper who Hawthorn will be banking on playing another 100 games for them.
The Pick 9 is a good starting point, but I hope Essendon demand something better than the other picks and Hustwaite. Then Hawthorn have a dummy spit and walk away.
Yeah but he's 30...
