whats a half dozen of spuds called?Watch them draft a raft of spuds now.
Hyper dependant on Gulden (I guess like we are on Switta and Young).Sydney when they got their players back looked really good. Now they finally have a good target up forward they’re looking dangerous
We'll see but I don't think I remember a good player apart from Nick Stevens not getting where they want to go in the PSD.He would considerably improve our forward line, it would be stupid not to pick him before Adelaide do if he was available.
Got pwned. Demonstrably weaker in October than they were in SeptemberHa Ha Hawthorn

But they lost Silvagni, Curnow and De Koning so good luck the next two years. IF McKay gets injured or gets the kicking jitters again are they going to be reliant on Haywood and Motlop to kick their goals?Carlton now have 6 firsts over the next three years
There's a reason Lever and May were the key pillars of Melbourne's short dominance (and flag). If you leak goals for any period, you're done. We did that in parts in most games last year. Being that reliant on Pearce and Ryan (hopefully was just carrying injuries most of the year) makes me nervous. Talk about key man risk.No I didn't.
Outside of Leek Aleer who just requested a trade there isn't that many better 'depth' KPDs across the league than Omac and Draper.
You might be able to find 3-4 others tops.
Compare May and Lever to Pearce and Cox or you're comparing apples with oranges. There's a reason Lever and May were the key pillars of Melbourne's short dominance (and flag). Will they be competitive? They finished 11th this year WITH Curnow? How are they going to go next year with Petrucelle instead?F*** me, Carlton just won a set for life scratchy. Able to set themselves up for a medium rebuild to replace key components whilst being competitive in the present.
Did Jai Serong get done?
Add Geelong (Worpel), Sydney (Curnow) and Giants (Oliver) to the list. Glad I'm not the only one concerned.
I wouldn't be worried about Worpel or Oliver. McVee is a better addition. He gives Longmuir the chance to improve us strategically.Add Geelong (Worpel), Sydney (Curnow) and Giants (Oliver) to the list. Glad I'm not the only one concerned.
They are gonna get bent over on the field in 2026.Absolutely hilarious watching the Carlton board melt that they got bent over before the actual deal was announced.
That’s massive over

Even if they draft guns, they will become spuds at Carlton.Watch them draft a raft of spuds now.

So what you’re saying is the PSD threat is never real and no team should trade for an ooc player? There hasn't been a player taken in the PSD who hadn't first agreed to terms with the club that took them in decades
And Ah Chee has agreed to terms with Adelaide...There hasn't been a player taken in the PSD who hadn't first agreed to terms with the club that took them in decades

Putting aside Brisbane shooting themselves in the foot, it feels crazy that Adelaide and Ah Chee's management are seemingly relying on the non-dickhead armistice btwn clubs to stop 1 of 13 clubs selecting him before them. There's been at least a fracturing of that today. Adelaide can play with the contract however they want, they can't stop West Coast matching that contract.Wlliams (Ah Chee Manager) fronting a presser with Ah Chee says a lot about Brisbane being ****heads
Why'd West Coast care about Adelaide getting better? If you’re WC you have to take him. Trade him to Adelaide a year later if you have to. Shouldn’t be helping good teams get better
And Ah Chee has agreed to terms with Adelaide...
Wouldn't be surprised if some clubs try and convince him to agree to a deal with them in the background but if he stats committed to Adelaide I reckon he plays for Adelaide next year.
If Kurt Tippett got through to Sydney, Ah Chee will get through to Adelaide.
It’s about getting whatever they can to help them improve when the draft is so compromisedWhy'd West Coast care about Adelaide getting better?
It's an extra player on Adelaide's list that'll be retired the next time West Coast is any good again if anything.
