Back by popular demand. However...

There has been some aggro from publishers of articles in recent months about sites that copypasta their content onto other sites, particularly the paywalled ones, which could lead to fines and whanot for those that do it. Apparently there are copywrite laws for these things. As a result we can no longer have full articles reposted here, so if you come across something then please refrain from nabbing the whole thing and just post the link. Quoting a paragraph or two and linking the source is fine however, just don't get greedy.

Here's the updated site-wide rule: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/please-read-re-copyright-posting-newspaper-articles.1389553/

Here's an example of what you can do:

"If West Coast was the gold standard for how to operate, then Fremantle's arrival into the AFL in 1995 could be viewed as a series of cautionary tales.

Despite eight wins in that debut season, a series of poor recruiting choices meant they didn't play their first final until 2003."

If they believe that us not making finals until 2003 was solely due to "a series of poor recruiting choices" then I have a bridge to sell them.

Thanks for your understanding.

Paul Haselby finishes with SEN today - which is a shame as I thought he was one of the better performers in the footy media.
Anyway, I did wonder whether he might be offered a position with the FFC?

Has that got anything to do with Hutchy taking over TAB radio 1206 and sacking presenters there?

RSN is now stuffed; the new website is hopeless as is SEN’s. I wish I was a dictator for just 1 day or a King (Bowie)

Given the affinity of this board for metal apparently, and being a fan of Alestorm I thought I'd have some fun and I've created this.

Hopefully it's a good laugh for you guys, and yes it is AI generated.
I'm enjoying Suno, my masterpiece to date is a romantic little number called "You've got a gherkin in your ear".

Peter Bell has just been employed there (SEN), in some racing capacity

Bell's doing Mondays and Fridays breakfast with Gossage. Cummings co-hosting the other days. Their breakfast shows been extended by an hour.

I don't know who SEN racing component appeals to. I've only tuned in by accident a few times and the WA SEN just seems to have these blokes not broadcasting the horse races but sort of broadcasting their barracking for the horses they've tipped while they're watching a race.

1206 AM had a huge amount of WA racing information for those that like a punt, it was owned by Racing WA though so iof course it should. I'd usually listen every Thursday arvo for weekend previews. It’s general sports coverage was appalling.

Hutchy will just gid rid of all that and we'll get syndicated national racing coverage with little in depth local info is my guess. I think if the guys Hutchy fires set up weekly podcasts many people will just follow them there

It appeals to people who wont listen because they're already down at the TAB where they can actually watch the races
