Back by popular demand. However...

There has been some aggro from publishers of articles in recent months about sites that copypasta their content onto other sites, particularly the paywalled ones, which could lead to fines and whanot for those that do it. Apparently there are copywrite laws for these things. As a result we can no longer have full articles reposted here, so if you come across something then please refrain from nabbing the whole thing and just post the link. Quoting a paragraph or two and linking the source is fine however, just don't get greedy.

Here's the updated site-wide rule: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/please-read-re-copyright-posting-newspaper-articles.1389553/

Here's an example of what you can do:

"If West Coast was the gold standard for how to operate, then Fremantle's arrival into the AFL in 1995 could be viewed as a series of cautionary tales.

Despite eight wins in that debut season, a series of poor recruiting choices meant they didn't play their first final until 2003."

If they believe that us not making finals until 2003 was solely due to "a series of poor recruiting choices" then I have a bridge to sell them.

Thanks for your understanding.

Ok, maybe the commentary is a bit too “blokey” but f***, this is why Vossy is an integral part of our team. Mongrel, aggression, fight, passion. Who doesn’t want to see this?

As the old man said in the back, “This is what the game’s about”

Love that commentary, we need more of it not this boring as bar shit commentary on Fox or Seven.

I don’t even like b-ball but the shit that White Chocolate was dishing up was just sensational. A genuine freakshow and if he was passing the rock so that folk didn’t have to align the seams, then he’s more of a genius than I thought he was and I thought he was a complete ****ing genius.

So good.

Just like Murphy ****ing Reid.
If Jason Williams was born in in 2006, 1.81m, played AFL, he would be Murphy Reid.

I thought Voss was on the mid weak tackle, but they only covered him for 30 seconds.

Interesting, he a UFA next year as he was delisted by Essendon.

Found this stat interesting. (I thought Bolton was good on the weekend, appeared take the first option instead of trying to do too much)

Bolton is an upgrade on Shultz.

The old bloke is Tony Shaw, a rough & tumble player from Collingwood. No wonder he loves him.

All in all, I think the ex players are peeved off with the "actors" in the game now, they love the aggression on the ball.

Im certain that Hawthorn train and practice playing for free kicks. Every one of them flops, and ducks.

The problem with David Hale was turning a ruckman into a forward line coach, made zero sense. No wonder our forward line was terrible for years.

And as forward coach, how much responsibility does he cop when we all wondered “why do all our players go after the ball at the same time”? Our forward line was a mess those years. Granted we didn’t have the stock but geez, we were terrible.

Graham has done a fantastic job.
MMM the latter has been under pressure from the key board experts many times.

Think it should go to a midfielder who hasn’t been completely shut out of almost all of his teams losses
Gee you are a hard marker. Just read where he Brayshaw and Jackson are on the AFLPA most important players for Fremantle.
A couple of off days, but never bad days and he gets bagged!!!

Those are the clubs voting for who they think their most valuable teammates are. Serong would be our best but when he’s competing with more consistent mids they deserve the spot in the AA over him

Our forward was terrible due to lack of proper investment through the draft not a forward coach that barely had anything to work with.

He's highly rated within the AFL system. Got to laugh when people think they can judge assistant coaches from the couch.

Also was more a forward than a ruck in his playing days.
