I prefer the term 'perennially resilient'.You are asking that of Freo supporters as a Freo supporter?
You have to be a masochist to support this club.

Obviously not only.Lol , it’s my own fault
Only the true defenders of the faith types are gonna be hanging around here at this time of year
Thank goodness it’s 2026 tomorrow, finally it will feel like footy will start ramping up again. Only have had the opportunity for one training report before Christmas but intend to catch a few in Jan and early Feb before taking off overseas again, it’s a retiree’s life!
I think it's not until the second week of Jan. Offices re open 13th Jan so I'm guessing around then.Does anyone know when the players return, is it this Friday or Monday? No info on the Freo site.

Would be a change then considering they returned on the 13th, 11th, 12th and 12th for the previous four years.Lol no
They'll be back next week

Curiously, what is the collective noun for a group of Karen's?

The training. The administration or the training?
The training.
I prefer, a group of Monas. An entitlement of Karen's seems to fit.
I recall that player agreements did allow greater holiday time. It seems that if you make finals you now have a significantly smaller preseason than 10 years ago. Freo had a very short lead into Christmas (especially the 4 years plus players). If they are not starting again until the 12th January the State of Origin players will only have just overs 4 weeks prep before being expected to play a full on game for keeps! Seems awfully short prep for mine.Hmmmm I recall the days sitting under a tree watching Freo train shortly after new years

I think it might be as Kane Cornes has been whinging about it for a few years the amount of break time the AFL players get in pre season and lack of time on the track.Yeah that doesn't sound right. Would allow for a higher injury risk

But its get lost in debates as he whinges about everything
I can't imagine choosing to be miserable all my life and trying to justify it on bigfooty. Gee there's some sad campaigners out there. You only live once, why choose misery instead of happiness?!
He has stood up for Palestine and spoke out about the genocide over there when it appears that nearly every other person in this country with any influence or public profile, both in politics and beyond, has been bought and paid for by the Zionist lobby.Well played Uzzie. An end to a great career.
You had many times of up and downs, but always got through with your every there smile.
We can never know how or what you felt because we have never walked in your shoes.
Have a great farewell test and may the runs come aplenty.
Thanks for the memories.
Enjoy your retirement.

Deserves massive credit for that.
