Do we have a Jy working in our membership department or did I miss a call from our captain?
If something like that was working for the kids why change it.Not to be a Debbie Downer but I have a small gripe from a membership perspective from yesterday;
Since that was our first home game of the year, it was also the first time that the kids could get their "Future Roos Passport" stamped.
Last year, this was a card that all kid members received that they would take to the merch stand behind the cheer squad bay, get stamped, and receive a little 'prize' for doing so (ie a badge, or a facepaint stick, etc). It was great, and my daughter loved it.
This year however, when we went to the same merch stand at Quarter Time to get her stamp, we were told that the Future Roos passport had to be redeemed outside the stadium at the Marvel Stadium 'guest services' desk?
That meant we had to scan out with our tickets, find that desk, then line back up, go through security screening again, and come back into the stadium.
Just seems like a dumb way to handle it and it's 'fixing' a problem that didn't exist, since last year's system worked perfectly.
It annoyed me. I saw a few other BF NMFC personalities (who I won't tag but are of course free to chime in themselves should they wish) who were also annoyed at this setup too.
Need to start setting goals as atm we are last on the ladder for Victorian teams for members.45,437
Need to start setting goals as atm we are last on the ladder for Victorian teams for members.
Need to aim for the following numbers across the board as members.
2025:55k members
2026:60k members
2027:65k members
Then keep those members happy with new outside the box ideas that other clubs haven’t tried before so we keep supporters happy that will keep on attending games.
With that we need to increase the membership with supporters in reserved seating areas on level 1+2 and hopefully more supporters on level 3.
Maybe the Membership Department need to form a Sub Committee of supporters across all Categories to get ideas to hopefully get more supporters and members.
As a Supporter I’m sick of other clubs supporters sitting in North areas every time we play at home love to see it packed with all NORTH supporter’s.
Plus being there a couple weeks back against Melbourne the noise of crowd I haven’t heard for some time when we got on roll was amazing and there was on 28k imagine if the was 48k there with %90 of the crowd being North supporters.
So come Saturday night against the Swans who’s supporters will there in droves we should be aiming for high 40k crowd with it being a large North crowd anything under that and being outnumbered by Swans supporters will be an embarrassment.
Need to get more people at our games otherwise from 2026 onwards we go from 2 games in WA to possibly 3 or 4 games in WA but I guess we will know by late August on that one.

Mason wood called me one year. I made him promise not to leave north melbourneDo we have a Jy working in our membership department or did I miss a call from our captain?
This happens every club. I work at Marvel and always pick up level 2 shifts if I can. Have been getting loads of opposition fans wearing the home teams membership round their necks. Dogs blues saints all same. Or with tickets to the area if u look on ticketmaster u can buy level 2 tickets. Sometimes I go get complaints buy nothing can do.Unfortunately nothing can be done about it as some of those opposition supporters are being brought to the game by North Melbourne members as guests.
Unlike yourself , myself and other North members, some dont care about it..
Agree we need to work on building crowd and incentivising attendance.Need to start setting goals as atm we are last on the ladder for Victorian teams for members.

We aren't that far behind the Demons who have 48,401, but we are falling behind the Dogs (50,595) and St Kilda with 53,509.46,682
Not the best day to be calling people to spend their hard earned after the performance on the weekend. Read the room peoplejust had the raffle ticket pitch call, the spiel went on longer than the massacre in the 3rd quarter on saturday. ....

, and I missed the deadline on selecting new seats while I was overseas. That bay now belongs to AFL (I think).Good seats and view. I sit in 29. 30 is probably just inside the 50.Does anyone have member seats on Level 2, Aisle 30? Looks like it’s right on or just inside the 50m arc. Would love to hear what the view’s like from there.
I used to have great seats on Level 2, Aisle 36, right on wing, before Marvel/AFL/North did their reshuffle, and I missed the deadline on selecting new seats while I was overseas. That bay now belongs to AFL (I think).
Right now I’m on Level 1, Aisle 37, Row K — good seats, but I’ve always preferred the perspective from Level 2. I’ve got the option to grab two seats together in Aisle 30, Row F… decisions, decisions! Stay or move?!
It's potato quality but here it is. Aisle 30 row a. She has a couple of better quality vids but they don't show the whole ground. Your only concern being row f is a bit of the pocket being obstructed.Does anyone have member seats on Level 2, Aisle 30? Looks like it’s right on or just inside the 50m arc. Would love to hear what the view’s like from there.
