Just wondering, have they increased the price of seat upgrades for this season?

I had a 3 game membership last season and most of the time 1 week before the match I would try to upgrade to a reserved seat. At the MCG behind the goals in M3 was around $30.

Now I upgraded to a 11 game membership and when I tried to upgrade my seat for the Hawks match, the upgrade for M3 is $57.

Maybe it’s because of the match expected to be a big crowd blockbuster?

For those yet to purchase a membership I would suggest holding off until Round 5 as the club could be paying you to take a membership if last night is anything to go by.

This club is more concerned with climbing the membership ladder than the premiership ladder

WTF have we become?
I get it to a degree, there would likely be more crank calls than memberships sold, but this makes us look like an absolute laughing stock.
Can imagine the phone call to SEN. "We just need to postpone it til we win our first game".
The response from our spokesperson is pathetic. As if it wasn't set in stone for today, after a good first up win.

I at least managed to get them to turn off the bullshit and disingenuous 'auto-renewal' this morning, whereby they basically signed me up again this year essentially without my consent.

I had to call the club this morning. I'm a Legends Lounge member with home and away reserve seats.

In Nov I had a call from the club telling me we had to move from our away MCG seats due to the club no longer having access to those seats blah blah blah. So they gave us a few options,not many to choose from so we agreed to random seats.

So we arrived at our seats last night, being an away game it's on level 4. So we were given aisle seats,stuck looking through railing to which we couldn't even see all the play in the entire 50 metre arc through the railing and the large screen at either end of the ground was partially out of view due to the roof covering it. So basically we had Top seating originally downgraded to restricted viewing seats.

We were absolutely pissed off and more so after the putrid display last night.

After the call to the club they had no other seats to move us too and told me they would make a note to call me before the MCG seating starts for the second half of the season.

Pretty pathetic I thought.

Is it still true that you pay the previous monthly instalments from when they started to the current month? We are currently on 7 of 10 monthly payments so you would have had 7x monthly payment come out straight away for each membership. Perhaps that wasn't explained. Can see why you'd be filthy if that part wasn't explained and weren't expecting it.
