I think I swapped Merrett or Daicos to him around the same time lolDidn't enter my team (or even come into consideration) until about 4-5 hours prior to the bounce in the Richmond vs Carlton R1 game. Made an impulse move as he had a great opening draw and low ownership, and have been paying for it ever since lol.

I've wondered about this as he seems to be playing hurt.Nick Daicos - 5 round average = 97
Ned Long - 5 round average = 94
Nicky D has failed to reach a ton in 7 of his 13 games. Seriously tempted to cash him in to remove an extra rookie from the field.

Maybe the bye freshens him up a bit?
Not being a smartarse here (Daicos seems a sensitive subject) but he's been limping a lot in games.Don’t think he’s playing hurt. It’s a multitude of things.
He’s obviously not a big midfielder so he doesn’t have the typical size to beat a tagger all the time, and his kicking has gone down because a lot of the time he’s getting touches in close and is forced into mistakes - he’s also trying to take on too much at time because he’s capable of making them, but they aren’t coming off.
He’s down on CP’s to last year as he’s got someone scragging and holding him at all times.
His average fantasy numbers are actually up from last year - he’s just nowhere near as efficient and getting bang for buck per possession.
Agree. It’s the reason I didn’t start him and had zero intentions of trading him in. Plantar fasciitis is a nasty injury the flairs up. His 175 or whatever against Brisbane was too hard to ignore and he sucked me in. If I turf him and keep Long instead it means I’ll have enough to upgrade both Visentini and Pedlar to JHF and Darcy. I’m thinking those two will be a better outcome than Vis + ND.I've wondered about this as he seems to be playing hurt.
Yep. Plantar fasciitis. 6+ week recovery time if resting. They’ve pretty much decided to play the whole season with it and just manage it with a view to off season recovery. Not being a smartarse here (Daicos seems a sensitive subject) but he's been limping a lot in games.
Wasn't it a foot issue or an ankle at the start of the year? i can't remember.
Doesn't look himself to me.
Next week looks a little grim for popular players and taggers.Next week Daicos gets Windhagered so don’t expect a ton.
Bloody taggers
I don’t think Bedford has been tagging lately for some reason, has he?Next week looks a little grim for popular players and taggers.
Neale-Mullin
Sheezel-Cincotta (maybe)
Rozee/Butters - Jordon
Naicos- Windy
Anderson-Bedford
I’ve got 5 of those 6. Can guarantee most will be pods in my cashies ha.
Could be right, didn’t see the game yesterday, just making an assumption on previous history.I don’t think Bedford has been tagging lately for some reason, has he?

I think I’m just gonna trade him. Honestly don’t give a **** anymore, just gotta stay out of relegation territory in a few leagues so just gotta make it to Round 20. It’s ND + Pedlar (F6) vs Mills + Darcy (F6). I ain’t persisting with Pedlar at F6.Next week Daicos gets Windhagered so don’t expect a ton.
Bloody taggers
I’ve got the same problem at F6.I think I’m just gonna trade him. Honestly don’t give a **** anymore, just gotta stay out of relegation territory in a few leagues so just gotta make it to Round 20. It’s ND + Pedlar (F6) vs Mills + Darcy (F6). I ain’t persisting with Pedlar at F6.
Well. This decision worked out as well as the rest of my season.I think I’m just gonna trade him. Thought his score didn’t reflect his game last night. He was good. It's just because he's a shit footballer who can only get his hands on it when his team is controlling the game.
He wins the hard/ground balls every week, gives him a high floor. But his disposal has been horrendous this year. So many hack kicks to the opposition defenders.Thought his score didn’t reflect his game last night. He was good.
The way he walks bothers me too, I’ve got problems LolIt's just because he's a shit footballer who can only get his hands on it when his team is controlling the game.
I don't like his haircut either. I thought as a species we had moved past the curtains look. The way he walks bothers me too, I’ve got problems Lol
No doubt about the hack kicks, most of the year his seem to be marked by opposition. This is the tough part about inside mids though, sometimes they have to hack it forward as no other option. They literally are kicking blind, if a teammate marks it, lucky, if not they lose points. He wins the hard/ground balls every week, gives him a high floor.
