In drafts, for me personally, outside of sheer class, I always look for growth spurts or someone that has shown great improvement in a small amount of time. Sullivan looks like the growth spurt might just take him from being a potential good footballer to a potential champion. Hope he goes well.

Whilst Brisbane have had luck with their father son selections (ironically a bit more than their academy), I think the most impressive thing is the culture they have built along with how they are developing talent.

10 years ago (not even) they were a complete basket case, players leaving left right and centre.

Fagan came along and they bring in a few players (Charlie and Neale) and they have completely flipped t around, let alone how any player that is walking into the club nearly instantly improves.

Really has had me questioning how much of Hawthorns success was Fagan and not Clarkson.
