HEY PEOPLE, JUST A BIT OF FUN BEFORE THE DRAFT, CURIOUS TO SEE WHO WANTS CERTAIN PLAYERS, THIS IS NOT WHO YOU THINK WE WILL DRAFT, ITS WHO YOU WOULD LIKE TO DRAFT, WE WILL PICK THREE PLAYERS, GIVE ME YOUR FIVE FAVOURITE PLAYERS IN THIS DRAFT REGARDLESS IF WE MOVE UP THE ORDER OR NOT, I WILL GO FIRST.

3/ Jacob Farrow
4/ Jevan Phillipou
5/ Louis Emmett

At my considerable distance I do not get to see VFL/SANFL/WAFL or Coates games so I am dependent on media/fan cut ups and the extremely dubious input of my brother and cousins. Having got my disclaimers out of the way here is my five I have a soft spot for:

1. Jacob Farrow
2. Harley Barker (subject to medical opinion)
3. Matt Le Ray
4. Max Kondogiannis
5. Liam Hetherton

Don’t select players that have had major knee injuries that can’t play to late 2026 or 2027 we have had enough of them at the NMFC.

Then any of Rory Wright / Finn Davis / B.O.B, with our third.

Don’t think Dov is available though, so suspect it will be one of Pickett, Lindsay or Schubert. Then extreme doubt Thredgold is there at the next pick, so Ludowyke or Emmett will be just as handy. Third pick could be anyone.

Haven't really taken to any draftee (regardless of projected pick) based on highlights. Maybe CDT because he has a hell of a ceiling if it clicks.

Need to watch a bit more Dovaston, not seeing the Watson productivity others are.

Robey and Greeves both look interesting on second thoughts.

Grlj reminds me of an even lighter Jaeger Smith.

Combos like: Dovaston, Ludowkye, Dahlitz; Pickett, Barker, Ah-Mu; Oskar Taylor, Greeves, Kondogiannis; Lindsay, Emmett, Kickett, etc. All look strong. This draft, though flawed looks like it could give us a few chances at nailing some role players or finding a tall mid with upside.
