I'm not warming to him, I do think he's a need though. Won't be upset but wary of male headband wearers in general.

Agree never thought he'd make it to us. He's slow though not treacle slow, and he's not Stephens-soft but can he tackle?? Does he defend ok?

I like him but can we carry another non-defensively minded defender? If we can adios Claiming 8, then sure pick him. He'll play 15+ games for us next year.

I'm not wedded to anyone this year, but I do keep coming back to Lindsay.

The distributor role seems to be as important now as its ever been (just look at old man Zorko) - and its hard to imagine Lindsay failing. Can't say that about many in this draft (which is why many rate it poorly).

The other safe value bet is Thredgold. Gives me Sam Frost vibes (athletic, tough defender 1 on one) but is comfortable with ball in hand and can push up the field.

Likewise, didn't know he was a BFNAAK, that is just an added bonus, but i have been watching draftee highlight clip's all day, love a left footer, and that kid has got a ripper on him, i'm aboard too

Don’t think Dov is available though, so suspect it will be one of Pickett, Lindsay or Schubert. Then extreme doubt Thredgold is there at the next pick, so Ludowyke or Emmett will be just as handy. Third pick could be anyone.

Oh dear god, the dream first 2 picks could be a reality come tomorrow night.

Hey Nostra, we certainly are, three positions of interest with two picks, defender, key forward and a midfielder, think we can get the two players in positions that are most needed and completely smash this draft, time will tell.

Just watching Thredgold clips, a few have mentioned that most of his marks are uncontested easy touches from transition. I personally think its a positive,,,,,highlights his athleticism to be able to spread and find separation. By the sounds of it he has no problem locking down as well, and has played every key position as a junior,,,,,Clarko sure seems to value versatility.....my only concern was some of his kicking looks a bit average, into general space without hitting a precise target.

Hey Ding, yes your not far off the mark there, Alastair does like versatility, it gives players another string to their bow if you know what I mean, unless your an absolute gun it does pay to be able to play another position, with Blakes kicking its not too bad, not elite but not awful, that can be tidied up when he gets to a club, I've heard a few people compare him to Harris Andrews, not a bad wrap, I think he's going to go mighty close tonight to being in a North jumper, the only danger would be if we take a key forward but that might be our last pick.
