Just finished watching another Texas shocker. Special shout out to the offensive line for being so bad, Manning for missing wide open receivers when the offensive line did actually give him time and the secondary for giving up multiple 3rd and long conversions. Can’t forget the inability to recover any of the five or six fumbles they forced - worst one was Hill going for a scoop & score instead of diving on it.

Iowa beat Penn St today. Penn St have the week off so will enter November without a P4 win this season with @ Ohio St and Vs Indiana in the next 2 games then finish with @ Michigan St, Vs Nebraska, @ Rutgers.

From preseason #2 to unranked, no P4 or conference wins and coach fired by the time the first playoff rankings come in.

the seasons of 1 Texas, 2 Penn St and 4 Clemson are more then enough to permanently eliminate preseason polls and well any polls before November.

I mean, the only one that is shocking is Texas. Other than the media mouth pieces I don't think many people thought Penn State were actually that good (although not anywhere near this bad) and Clemson showed nothing last season to suggest they would be as good as their ranking suggested. Dabo is a dinosaur and Klubnik is massively overrated. Hell, I laughed when Klatt had them as his pre-season favourites. If Clemson played in the SEC or Big 10 they wouldn't ever make the playoffs.

Coaches poll Penn St were 3 pre season and u think the Big10 coaches picked them as the champs. It wasn't just the media.

But people also thought Drew Aller was going to be a top pick. Now with how he played before the injury might be a day 3 pick.
People and coaches were high on Clemson preseason. Klubnick was a Heisman frontrunner and top draft prospect. But they always overrated Dabo teams
