Colts had worst game of season Jones looked like Giants Jones and OLine got mauled and said **** it lets go all in for this year and trade for Sauce. Baffling.
Teams can have a bad week and still go on to win the Super Bowl. How is it rational to say "well, we're currently the #1 seed in the AFC, but we lost by a touchdown to the #4 seed in week 9, so let's pack it up and hope for next year"?

I have no idea on a top 10.
after Seattle, genuinely unsure of the order. Wouldn’t want to push Buffalo up too far, or KC too far down. No one really putting their hand up.

Post-deadline, feels like Seattle should go higher and the Jets lower….!

Maybe Colts go back up 1-2 spots, and the Jags definitely knocking on the door.

Yah, I think the idea is that their O line has been fine, Pittsburgh and Tomlin needed a big return to form and pulled out all the stops.
But WR1s like Nacua can feast on their secondary, and with London, Rice, JSN etc just over the horizon, they needed to do something.
Definite overpay in a vacuum, but if they get the 1 seed it’ll be worth it.

I think if he walks you het a comp pick, probably a 3rd.
Jets have like 118m of cap space, they wont be getting any comp pick by the time they are done spending.

Will be exciting to see what they do with all these....

spoiler. nothing

Also what a year to have so much draft capital when there are no standout QB's in college. Arch who was unlikely to enter the draft has been shit, Klubnick has regressed, Drew Aller proved me right as he is just ass, Sayin looks good but cant enter for another year but also i dont like 1 year starters.

Well, hasn't this thread taken off!!?

Sam Darnold among the elite this year. And unlike Danny Dimes I'm not expecting him to turn back into a pumpkin.

Feel like he did this last year and then December happened and went from "Vikings would be stupid to let him walk, to Vikings would be stupid to keep him"

Would be foolish going after big money free agents. They are better of hitting the draft to rebuild their entire team. Then target the right low cost veterans to coach and lead the young players.
Sure but its the Jets we are talking about. they could have unlimited cap and draft picks and still end up a mess just because of Woody putting his fingerprints on the team

Its a new coach who will already be on the hot seat. They arent going to sit on their hands next offseason.

Just catching up on all the moves. The reason for this thread's activity has become crystal clear! Jets having the fire sale to end all fire sales.
Well, not to that extent, they still kept Jermaine Johnson and Breece Hall despite getting competitive offers.

They only have Jones signed for this season thou kind of strange to go all in when you might need a new qb at end of season. Just saying.

2 1sts for a CB is a very steep price, but the Colts side of the Sauce trade is more interesting - it basically locks them in to signing Indiana Jones as their starting QB going forward, and may have weakened their hand in any negotiations on a contract

Please use his full government name.... Indianapolis Jones.

Its premature to workout what kind of deal he'll be able to secure next season.

Sam Darnold (getting the same plaudits) was lights out great and then melted in week 18 and in the Wildcard. Cost him years and millions of dollars.

Vikings change tact, Seattle gets qb value and now the talk is he's lights out again.

Jones still has half a season to play, plus the actual important games.

It's a steep price to pay 2 x 1st rounders but boosting the D might be the thing that keeps them afloat when shit gets real in January.
