The chiefs were already facing with having to undergo a mini rebuild, this injury all but forces their hand.

Need an entirely new offensive setup. Need big body receivers to complement worthy and rice, need new tight ends, running backs . The defense also needs to be overhauled.

Andy Reid prob retires now. wont have Mahomes till Thanksgiving next season [might as well just have the next coach have a tank year get a good pick. and have a cap reset year without Pat] Kelce will retire

He might think he owes the Chiefs to get them into a position to contend, who knows you could be correct

I think he has been thinking retirement a few years. He doesnt owe them anything.
He will be 68 in March. Going one more year knowing you have no QB wont help anyone

Yep, two options are you go a handover, the second is wrap it up and go completely new with the knowledge the next two years might be a rebuild

Hurt us today on a Jacobs TD before the half. a few plays later we scored a TD anyway. but it got Zach Tom hurt on the 2nd TD. It was a ticky one. TE in motion was set for like 3/4 a sec and not a full second.
