the 08 Pats were a far better team then this KC team. Most of that team was the same 18-1 team.

I like to think I'm a rare beast - a realistic Chiefs fan; I predicted they'd miss the postseason a month or so ago.

He has caused us a heap of grief to us , but you never like seeing that .
Guy is a superstar and it wont be the same without him out there the start of next season

9-10 months is pretty standard ACL recovery. He wont miss much of next season, if any

Thats if surgery is done in the next week or so and without any setbacks. also QB's tend to take a bit more time because they need to get used to being in the pocket again both with the knee brace and the traffic around the legs. for him to start week 1 he needs to be throwing the day camp opens.

With that KC OL he will be getting hit so KC might want to take the cautious approach and not rush him back to start in September

Even that i would have as the timetable with no setbacks. i would aim for October with surgery before Xmas and no setbacks otherwise Thanksgiving if there is a hitch in rehab.

Right now the first thing is the swelling to go down so he can get surgery done before Xmas

We can joke about Pat being the new golden boy and protected more then other QB's.

But we will all miss watching him play or cheering against his team.

Nobody wants injuries to star players. Long-term injuries this late in the season always suck more because you know they will miss a chunk of the next season.
