Just pathetic from Tampa. Imagine losing to a shitty falcons team with about 20 penalties, Cousins at QB and who are out of playoff contention.

Carolina as a division winner would’ve been almost unthinkable not so long ago.

We are going to have the dumbest people on TV once again start the debate over seeds when the Panthers host a 12 or 13 win NFC West team.

You want a home playoff game. win your division, You dont get to cry about it.

3 NFC West teams may make the playoffs only because they played the NFC South....can't have a home game too as a non division winner.

Still not as bad as when the Panthers won their division with a 7-8-1 record in 2014.

Next year or the year after it will be another division. every few years it happens and generally a different division. NFC South and AFC south just happen more often.

NFC West has had them both, I'm under no delusion that the soft schedule rewarding a playoff spot is more than enough reward let alone a home playoff for finishing 3rd in division.

2008 Arizona won at 9-7 and made it to the superbowl. beat the 11-5 falcons, 12-4 Panthers and then hosted the 9-6 Eagles in the NFC championship game

7-9 Seattle rolled the 11-5 Saints in the beastquake game in 2010
That 2014 Panthers beat the 11-5 Cardinals.
8-7-1 Packers hosting the 12-4 9ers one year
7-9 Washington almost beat the 11-5 Bucs with Brady the year Tampa won and Washington were playing with an XFL QB
Last year the 10-7 rams hosting the 14-3 Vikings. Chargers have had a couple of games where they were the WC team but had more wins.

Looks like just about every division has had 1 where the division winner had less wins then the WC team

Panthers rocket into the division lead on the back of the Bucs falling apart with 2 terrible losses in the division to the Saints and Falcons. They were 6-2 to start the season and 1-5 since with their only won over Arizona by 3 points.

On that subject I can remember 9 years ago the Raiders set a record for the most penalties in a game (23) against the Buccs in the same stadium

Much like the Falcons, the Raiders won that game in a walkoff

Juzt saw a replay of Pitts' third TD that made it 26-28. How did they rule that a TD either on the field or in the booth? He clearly juggled the ball and when he had a grasp of it, his ass landed out the endzone. Bucs giving up the 4th and 14 at the end was woeful too.

Sounded very on brand for the Raiders up till they point where they won

Todd Bowles presser an interesting one.

I’ve never been much of a fan, but I agree with most of what he said. The players, particularly Baker, need to take responsibility for ****ing up so badly.

They are so lucky to be in a shitty division almost every year and they’re just squandering it.

I just feel it is time for the bucs to get a new voice.

He's an excellent co-ordinator, but not a great HC. He doesn't do a lot that is noticeably bad, but this Buccs team should be a lot better than struggling to win a shit division. Something just doesn't click into place, gotta be something behind closed doors, IMO.

Don't think calling out the players does much for the team either, tbh, and its just another sign of that disconnect. In the locker room, 100%, tear shreds from them, they're fn professionals. But in the media, does nothing but sign his exit papers.

To think Baker was in MVP talks at the start of the year, I never bought any stocks. Can’t escape the spud he was at Cleveland & he’s steadily declined throughout the season culminating in a horrible game year against an average undermanned Atlanta with a cooked Cousins.

Time to move on from Bowles/Baker Bucs.
