So pi**ed off that Dawkthorn managed to roll Adelaide by 3 points on their pathetic little home ground in Launceston.
But understand that this result actually helps us in terms of consolidating our position on the ladder.

So weighing it up, I'm happy because it means another piece in the jigsaw just fell into place.

Cannot believe the Crows managed to lose that game. The Dawks never won, the Crows lost it, in the first half they were as dominant as any team this year, with nothing to show for it. I think they have them covered when it counts, and they would have been two games clear of them had they managed to win. I think the conditions being so wet had a lot to do with it as well, but missing routine set shots dead in front always comes back to bite you. I rate the Crows as third best behind us and Geelong, and do have the game to beat anyone when they are on. The Hawks however I don't rate.

As an aside, GWS are a big chance to win in Brisbane today, I expect a different game plan on the massive wide expanses of the Gabba, if they bring their A game they can roll Brisbane. And if they don't, its season over.

I'm assuming from the quality of that game is why the AFL is insisting the Tasmanian team has a roof on its stadium.

Was a night game. AFL matches have been played in winter in Tassie for years - without a roof. Could just play Tassie Devils games in the day - or would that compromise the fixture?

Greene out for GWS. Can’t see an upset happening without him

Sack Andrew Dillon. He never gives interviews- he is the invisible man who has overseen a shocker of a year with the worst umpiring, low scoring, unattractive footy, the failure of his sidekick Laura Kane and the Tassie deal looking in grave danger of falling over.

What a disaster.

A Collingwood flag would be the only hope of saving this season from the tag of being in the top ten worst in living memory.

I know I'm repeating myself but the angst is strong. Reiwoldt just said " the game is starting to open up!" with five minutes left on the clock.

I don’t know about sacking Dillon, but if Demetriou has his ear….
Here’s what Wiki has about Demetriou…
Demetriou in 2014 became the Chairman of the Advisory Board at Acquire Learning.[21][22] Acquire Learning entered voluntary administration in May 2017, shortly after Demetriou left the company.[23] Mr Demetriou was sued by shareholders for his part in the collapse, and contributed $360,000 to the settlement sum to stop the Court action.[24][25]

Demetriou in 2018 became a director of Crown Resorts. In 2021, Demetriou resigned after Crown was found by Commissioner Patricia Bergin on behalf of the NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority not to be suitable to hold a gaming licence in New South Wales and specifically found that Demetriou was someone who Crown "would be justified in lacking confidence in", calling his evidence to the inquiry "bizarre" and "unimpressive".[26]
