I'd prefer they didn't get rid of him before 2026

Post 2026 would be the perfect time to let him go because Cripps and Curnow should both be close enough to the end to not be as effective under a new better coach

Right now, their Top 6 is still more then good enough to carry them under the guidance of a decent coach

Like I said during the week Brisbane hadn't lost the last 2 games due to lack of opportunity, they simply didn't take enough of them. That would turn and to much was being made of the losses by some in the media and a couple on here.

As it is if they were 6.11 tonight instead of 11.6 Geelong would have been right in the game still at 3/4 time.

That wouldn't have meant Brisbane hadn't played well in all other areas of the game.

Conversely I wouldn't be writing Geelong off on the back of one game either (as much as I'd love to).

Brisbane are a good team but they're not a big Premiership threat at the moment. Their defensive pressure has been poor most of the year and was terrible against the Giants, their worst in a long time.

Cats game was better for them, especially defensively, but they'll need to show that level more consistently.
