With any doubts due to GWS now gone
We now know for sure it’s either Adelaide or Geelong first up
My preference is Adelaide however our form ultimately means it probably doesn’t make a difference
My only lingering hope is that the final 10 minutes against Melbourne was the reminder and the trigger for this team that yes, when you play with dare and aggression through the middle you open up the ground and we become unstoppable

Best result tonight is a draw. We stay 3rd. Hawks play an elimination final.
Second best a narrow Hawthorn win just so we stay 3rd and play Geelong at the G. Geelong have only one 1/3 games against top sides since start of June!
Next best, any Brisbane win so hawks play an away elimination final. Hopefully out first week.

Yet I’ve got no issues with Geelong and Hawthorn beating each other up week 1, guaranteeing us an MCG prelim if we make it and Brisbane having to travel.

Hawthorn is a scary prospect given how we seem to act like they are the schoolyard bully and let them steal our lunch money pretty much every time we play them!
2011 we beat them in a prelim.
