Don't want Dogs to make it, go Suns.Brisbane are travelling to Freo if they lose, regardless of the suns game
hawks are travelling to the Giants if Suns win and Freo if the Suns lose
This game just became more critical especially for Brissy
If Brissy win…go bombers!
I only care about Collingwood and what makes it hardest for our main rivals. And Brisbane or Hawthorn having to travel to Perth in a knockout game ticks that boxDon't want Dogs to make it, go Suns.

I can't barrack for Hawks. I don't want them to get a double chance. Knocked out in their first final would be my preference.Who do we want to win out of Lions and Dorks? What result advantages Pies the most?
Personal pragmatic view is we want to finish third and play the Cats at the G . Romantic view from many is play the Crows .Who do we want to win out of Lions and Dorks? What result advantages Pies the most?
Whilst I agree with sentiment I only care about what’s best for Collingwood. Although that too is a flip of the coinI can't barrack for Hawks. I don't want them to get a double chance. Knocked out in their first final would be my preference.
We remembered how to play fast corridor football in the last quarter against Melbourne, thankfully.Arguably the best forward line in the game and the best midfield in the game and will miss finals with a 140%.No better case in footy for focusing on defence first.
And I sure hope Fly was watching carefully. Dogs had numbers forward, something like 16-4 i50s in the first, kicked a lot of points and all it took is composed and fast slingshot from Freo to blow the game open. This is footy this year and we have to adapt. We know how to do it having been the major player of that game two years ago but it will take shuffling the magnets and mindset.

I personally would like the chance to go and support the boys at the g, so hoping we play geelong week 1. Which would require a hawks win with a margin less than 12 or so points.Who do we want to win out of Lions and Dorks? What result advantages Pies the most?
I guess I don't want to meet Hawks in a final either, so that would be best for us in my mind.Whilst I agree with sentiment I only care about what’s best for Collingwood. Although that too is a flip of the coin
I can hit the missus up for a “romantic” night in front of the TV shouting profanities at every Adelaide player and umpire. She’ll be weak at the knees with excitementPersonal pragmatic view is we want to finish third and play the Cats at the G . Romantic view from many is play the Crows .
Yeah I think a game against Adelaide is more dramatic and exciting. Shame we have to travel, but doesn’t personally bother me. Might even mean we get some favourable fixturing to accomodate.I can hit the missus up for a “romantic” night in front of the TV shouting profanities at every Adelaide player and umpire. Stakes went up more for the hawks though with a vic team dropping out of the eight and replaced by a WA teamCritical for Hawks too - they can still finish anywhere from third (if they have a comfortable win) to eighth (if they lose and Suns comfortably beat Essendon as expected)

Not sure . It’s good for football. I only care about one team though!Assuming Suns get up, that means 5 non-Victorian teams in the finals, dunno if that has ever happened before?
Has to be Sydney ‘Bloods Culture’ Swans.Probably a question for another thread but which non finalist had the most disappointing season?
My vote is for the Dogs . Honorable mentions to Blues and Swans along with north who should have advanced somewhat this year
