Fagan tanked the qualifying final to see what Geelong would do against them. He watched, taped and planned against it.
The effort and skill level here versus 3 weeks ago is black and white, and Lions are worn out.

The Lions training at warm temperature all season long and off season is a great advantage in fitness and tank. Add talent and genius coaching and it's a dynasty.

No injuries and the game tied at half time was close to the perfect result for Brisbane regarding Neale.

I still thought they'd wait until 1/2 way through the 3rd before pulling the trigger.

The scoreboard finally started to reflect the general feel of the game come the end of 3rd IMO with Brisbane up until that point costing themselves scoring opportunities with that last kick inside f50.

With Neale entering the game I thought they might have pushed Rayner forward.

Because they are, they are pretty old team similar to Pies. They just had a really good run with injuries and easy schedule. But last week looks like Dangerfield used up his tank and is running on fumes.
