But that’s all it is a starting point.
There needs to be concrete evidence, with cash or other incentives that can be difficult to prove.
There isn’t an unlimited budget to chase these red flags. The current structure in
leagues don’t have time. The AFL don’t care and leagues would prefer to spend on tangible assets.
I’m sure clubs would be prepared to pay more to have correct governance on the salary cap. I’d say a club that consistently follows the salary cap would appreciate knowing they are on a level playing field. Teams that cheat to win flags are basically costing well run clubs money.
