Bayliss is racking them up….
Yep, don't think there's a limit on distance he will go to try and take money from a club and then just bail. More fool the clubs that take him and his usual 3 or 4 mercenaries that follow. Not often the clubs he's gone to have been in a better place once he's left them

Or the 15 he had. Head in sand stuff

Yep. Clubs need to stop going for short term solutions. I've said it before about it but teams going for blokes like Bayliss and Van Unen are stupid at this stage in there careers. They will demand top money, play for a year, then move on. The flag isn't worth it if you watch your club almost fold the next year

Then the older heads that try and defend it when it’s their club.

but you’d have to say wandin and park orchards were left in pretty strong positions?
Bayliss had already played at Wandin before coaching there. So it's not like he bought a heap of mates with him going from club to club.

In regards to Park Orchards, they seem like a club that did it smart. He wasn't there long but also didnt lose a heap of players when Bayliss inevitably left, except one huge one in Daniel Gorringe which he took back to Wandin with him. Which just shows he will take from any club he can, but good on Park Orchards for not letting it be a negative and kept going upwards all the way to Prem.

Park orchards way too much $$$ to fall into a hole. Unlimited pockets

Especially now. Bayliss couldn't get a kick in Div 3 and Van Unen was even worse in Div 4. Both past it and both worth a hotdog and coke now. Wouldn't pay them with stolen money

Not an “out” but if he plays VFL he’ll be another big loss for Noble, who don’t seem to have been able to recruit anybody.

I think something like 4-5 players from their 2022 flag are still at the club.

Still I bet they wouldn't trade the success they had if they knew everyone was going to move on and the wins become harder to come by. Been a helluva ride from them. All good things must come to a end. (except if you've got unlimited pockets)
