Training JUH back is a normal part of his development and a good investment in him and us.

When we have three talls - they should each be able to contribute in other parts of the ground - either because they are not having a great game and need to get into it or because we have an injury or being towelled up and we need an option.

Darcy - ruck where he will be great
Naughton - link where he is really good
JUH - ?? Defence

Curnow and Cameron drop back to great effect. Naughton does this but more to the wing and midfield not sitting in the hole as those two do.

JUH did drop back in his junior days and is very good at reading the play but also being more physical and accountable can make you.

Glad to hear VD, apparently there are no AFL listed players in the game though
Sweet, thanks for letting me know

There's a couple of VFL lads I'm keen to see play
So it works out for me

Looking at the swans v hawks game the 2025 season more than ever will be super quick movement of the ball with elite kicking skills that hit their targets. The hawks have players that hit targets in spades. I just do not think we have a lot of these players and our game will be based on a lot of handball.

Ok Pessimistic Dog we know it’s you. Come out with your hands in the air. And tell us what you’ve done with OD.

After going to training a couple times this week and talking to people around the club, there is a strong belief Freijah will play midfield round one.

He impressed with his finish to last year, especially the final, and he’s been among the best this pre season. He has trained with the core midfield group this week (Libba, Sanders, Richards)

Dogwatch, not pessimistic just reality. Our strength is not elite kicking. Baily Dale and The Bont are our best at hitting targets now Daniel is gone. Our game style strengths are handball and taking grabs in the forward line how this stacks up against the strength of an elite move the ball quick team like the hawks i do not know. Hopefully we can get back to near full strength early in the season and we will see how we stack up.

Has all the tools to be a top line midfielder. Great experience for him to rotate through.
