Strange use of quotes considering the question and actual response. Respect that it's the article and not you

In context its:
"Do you think the loss to BL in the prelim has ignited you or is it just another season"
"I think the important part of the question is if its just another season and I take the time to respect each season for what it was and for that reason the prelim will haunt me for what it could've been"

paraphrased obviously but seeing the article it really seems out of line with what he was saying

O. Henry? (I seem to remember he picked up a niggle in the pre-season matches)
Conway (I think he’s a while off)

Could be a very strong line-up.

We've decided that it's best to actually listen to doctors and medical experts when it comes to injuries, concussions, rehab times etc, acknowledging that "pushing through" really isn't the best option

In 2002 Daniel Chick had his ring finger amputated due to repeated dislocations, and taping them together really wasn't working

Tom Harley ruptured a finger tendon in his first game as captain, was expected to miss around 6 weeks and didn't get back into the seniors until round 10

Jesse Hogan is likely out for the first 2 or 3 rounds due to a broken thumb recently sustained


Depending on the severity of the injury, it can easily require more than simply being taped up to keep playing as it can impact a players approach to the contest, ball handling etc

In days gone by we also sent players back onto the field after a concussion.

Maybe, just maybe, we manage players injuries better now.

Conway medium term
Ivisic a while with syndesmosis
Mannnagh Bruhn and Martin should all be 4 weeks away Max by the looks of.
Not too bad for this time of year.
