DD said during the week that he has been back at the club and is looking fit.
Along with the other re-hab boys.
Maybe it was his day for lighter duties?

Official pre season training starts on Monday... YAY! Hopefully all the boys come back in great shape.

The flag unfurling on March the 6th v the Cats will be here before we know it, we've already booked a table at the German Club for a pre game meal, never been there.

Not a criticism of our guys as basically every club has veterans show up early... but controversially I find it so lame to get excited about it. How many times have reporters breathlessly covered essendon players showing up a week early?

Stop undercutting the CBA provisions for leave you idiots!

I really hope not. I know you are talking about running though.
I think we can expect a lot more from Marshall than Sharp in the first 3 years.
Also wonder who was in the trial. Still great that he is in good shape though.

But it all went horribly wrong on 19 February 2017 in a pre-season game against Brisbane at Broadbeach, when he hyper-extended his leg and badly dislocated his hip.
The shattered 24-year-old didn’t walk for 50 days until 10 April. It was 153 days until he ran again on 22 July. And 398 days and a change of coach before he played his 99th AFL game on 24 March 2018 in Stuart Dew’s first game at the helm.

Day will be closer to 32 than 31 by the start of the 2025 season in March, and in line to be the seventh player to debut in Brisbane colors beyond 30 after Luke Hodge, Matt Rendell and Ben Hudson (33), Grant Birchall (32), Jack Gunston (31) and Geoff Raines (30).

Lol, easy Tom, it's not like they're digging ditches for a living. Compare the work / life balance these guys get compared to players in the 70's & 80's.
